I am a chemo patient who decided to buy pizzas for the nurses who administered my chemo. I paid the $5.99 delivery fee and opt out to give a tip. The driver called me and asked if I was going to give him a tip. I told him no. Later that day, my credit card posted another invoice for $13.89. I called the restaurant and talked to Samantha the general manager who informed me that the driver stated he asked them for a tip and he allowed the nurses to signed a $13.89 tip on my credit card. Samantha said, she would take it off my credit card if not she will reimburse me from the store's register. Four days later, I was charged $13.89. I called the restaurant and Samantha was in a meeting. She has not returned my call. Please be careful about using your credit card online with them. They will add extra charges that you did not agree upon. After talking to Chase, I learned some merchant will keep a copy of your card number after your transaction is complete. I guess that is what they do at Giordano's
Claimed loss: $13.89
Desired outcome: You can charge someone a tip if they already paid delivery fees
