For years for breakfast I have eaten peanut butter toast and a cup of maxwell house coffee. For several weeks now after I would eat breakfast I would become sick with stomach/abdominal pain and throw up. I would feel sick almost the entire morning and often throw up several times but by early afternoon I would seem to feel better and no longer throw up. I was afraid to eat anything and started eating twinkies, vanilla wafers and jello thinking that wouldn't upset my stomach. I even thought I developed an allergy to peanut butter because of the peanuts. I seemed to be doing ok so yesterday I ate my twinkies for breakfast and decided to drink a cup of coffee. Shortly after I ate breakfast I once again became very ill and started throwing up. At that point I knew it couldn't be the twinkies and the only thing I did different was drink the coffee. I immediately went to the internet to research if maybe there was a recall on the coffee and found a blog where people were experiencing the same problems after drinking maxwell house coffee, not only complaints of abdominal pain, throwing up but also nausea, diarrhea and headaches and/or migraines after drinking maxwell house coffee. I plan on calling the manufacturer tomorrow and ask if they are making their coffee with different ingredients or purchasing ingredients from a different source. I am totally convinced that my sickness is from drinking maxwell house coffee and I don't say that lightly.
