American Lube Fast

On June 9, 2023 my son took his car to get an oil change. On July 6 my son was driving the car and the car cut off on him, the car cranked back up and ran a few more mins then cut off again and would not start again. Went July 7 to try to crank the car since it had sit for the night, it wouldn't crank. Got car towed to the shop to see what was wrong with it, still wouldn't crank, tried to turn the motor, nothing so they said that the motor was locked up. July 18 ordered motor. July 20 motor arrived at the shop. got a call July 26th car was ready to pick up. still had old motor at the shop, and they asked my son where and when he got his last oil change from so he told them and they asked him if they said anything about the drain plug being stripped and he told them no. the man at the shop said that the drain pug was stripped and we should have been aware of it so we could have changed it out. but no one told my son anything and it is not on the paperwork anywhere from his oil change stating that. so the guy at the shop said what happened was the oil slowly leaked out of that area.
