I just posted a comment and when it posted, it the text was made to look like I was using foul language. I DID NOT. I don't know why this happened. I can speak very well without cursing.

CCO Mortgage is the most unorganized, unethical bunch of liars I've ever dealt with. I missed two payments when I lost my job. Month three, I offered to make double payments. They refused them. It is now 2-1/2 YEARS later and they're still playing games. Its now gone to foreclosure and court. They want me to apply for a modification, which I have, 8 times(!) even though I can well afford my payments now. When I call after I send in the "package" they say something's missing or not right... total LIES. Then they say the information is outdated and I have to apply AGAIN. The State of Illinois has a program now that appoints free legal representation, which I have to take advantage of because the attorneys I've contacted won't take the case. My sister missed almost a year of payments and her mortgage company worked out a very amicable repayment plan to get them back on track... without a modification process. I've even offered to travel to Glen Allen, VA to meet with them face-to-face. Yep, you guess it... they won't meet with me. I go back to court on May 5th, this time with an attorney supplied by the state. Oh, and I received ANOTHER modification package the other day saying I need to submit another... #9! I'm curious what they're doing with the rest of them. I am a very private person. I'm tired of people driving by my house taking pictures, having my daughter traumatized by people coming to the door, and receiving mail from strangers wanting to buy my house. F*ing ###. I hope they either get penalized or they go under. I will fight this to the end and then I'm closing EVERY account I have with RBS Citizens, the parent company!

We were accepted for a loan mod. We mailed 3 payments of $1143.49 with cashiers check. We were waiting for the paper work from CCO, making phone calls almost everyday so we can get our info on what our new payment would be. When calling CCO, all we got was the run around. We were told that "paper work was still being processed" "it was in the legal dept" ect. My husband and i did not let up on making contact with CCO, finally we were told that we have some more forms to fill out, they sent them, we filled them out. As time went on and our phone calls to CCO DID NOT STOP, we still never got an answer as of what was going on with out loan. I have all the days, time and people we spoke to and people that hung up on us if that is needed(I hope they record their phone calls!) Then this past July
we come to our home with a foreclose letter taped to our door! We called CCO and they now tell us we never made a payment on the trial mod. CCO said they wanted Prof we made all 3. The bank pulls the records and sees that one of them did not clear! since they are cashiers check the money was pulled out of our acct. when we got them. CCO said get another check and send it and we will work out another mod. for you. We send the check in August...and we wait. October 8 I get an email from Making Homes Affordable with the new Mod. along with a phone call from Margie from Fannie Mae stating the same thing. So now we play the waiting game with CCO again, my phone calls and emails(I have if needed) say "the paper work was sent out" then it was "still waiting for the paper work to be done" This went on and on, I had Making Homes affordable doing conference calls with me and CCO..we got hung up on 2 times and always got"we will look into it and call you back" NEVER would happen!
February 8th I get a knock on my door from a relitor asking if the house was occupied! He said there was a sheriffs sale of the house! WTH?!?!

CCO is nothing short of a group of government sanctioned liars and thieves who will do everything they can to steal your home from you.
Customer service is laughable, what they call customer service is more like calling 911 in a foreign country, they're helpless and hopeless and have one of the slimiest law firms in the country backing them up.,
They will stall and attempt to 'lose' any paperwork you send concerning modifications for months on end until you can no longer qualify, then they'll put you on a forebearance for 6 months while secretly adding yet more to your delinquent total resulting in an even higher foreclosure rate.
Thankfully I am able to counter their attempts at swindling me out of my home and pay the extortion fee's for the time being, until they attempt to scam me again anyway.
It's a crying shame people like these are allowed to continue to operate in this country or any other, much like fannie and freddie, a bunch of swindling con artists that I have nothing but utter contempt for.

Above remarks are dead on! You are right on all accounts. We are in the middle of finalizing our construction loan and have had nothing but mistakes on the paperwork from Citizens. Beyond rude - even got hung up on by woman at COO. We are compiling a letter to the CEO Ellen Alemany. Everyone may want to do that and maybe they will get the message. In reading her annual statement of the mission of the bank, she states that "customer service" is the focus of the bank. Do they know what customer service is? Our saga has been going on since July 17th. They even screwed up our checking account that we opened at Citizens for the auto debit. I have never seen so many broken process in one company. The local branch of Citizens has been as helpful as they can and they admit to frustration.

Too many complaints..I would be here all day! Do not choose CCO mortgage. They are awful to work with. Customer service is very rude and don't treat customers with respect. If you want to speak with someone about a concern..do not expect to talk to someone. You can call and call and never receive an answer. Months and months have gone by and I still am in the same place. Paper work gets lost all the TIME...and there is no management. PLEASE DO NOT GET A MORTGAGE FROM CCO MORTGAGE! They have no care of your livelyhood and they just blow you off. They are very very very very very frustrating to deal with. You are better off with another company.
