Great Expressions Dental Centers - Anesthesiologist / tooth extraction

Today 10/9/2021 my daughter had 4 wisdom teeth removed. The doctor goes to give her the shot for pain and she screamed out very loud (I was in the lobby). One of the nurses came in and said "oh that was me, something scared me".

My daughter comes out after her procedure with red eyes. When we got in the car she told me that when she was given the shot it really hurt and it was worse when the needle was removed that's when she screamed (she had been their prior because of a root canal that wasn't done properly in which it got badly infected. And at their recommendation it was being removed along with three other teeth).

The nurses laughed (extremely unprofessional) and the doctors said to my child "that if she didn't stop screaming they would stop the procedure because she was scaring the other patients." Not one time did she ask her if she was ok nor did she do anything to make her comfortable like perhaps giving her more medicine for pain. She then goes to say "they don't accept that behavior, that they gave her 4 shots (again she was getting 4 teeth removed) and that there was no way she was in pain, and then said that if she was in pain for her to raise her hand."

When my daughter raised her hand as she was told, they (the nurses) lowered it without even asking one question. At this point, I can only assume no one gave a damn. They were only concern about the other patients and not the one sitting in the chair who was in pain.

This place is extremely unprofessional! Everyone's pain level isn't the same. If someone tells you they're in pain address the patients issue! I am angry and they would've been as well if it was their child. My daughter is due an apology from the entire staff!

Side note… it is not in their best interest to over book appointments. The place was so packed there were people standing, sitting on the floor, and waiting outside. Makes me feel my daughters appointment was rushed and the main reason no one cared about her being in excruciating pain throughout her procedure.

Also, it's unprofessional to have your front desk workers discussing how much money they made off of the clients, that they are ready to go, telling a child her mother left her stranded (whether joking or not) amongst other things discussed. This is a place of business and should be conducted as such!

Desired outcome: Apology to my daughter from the Dentist and attending nurses!
