Reviews and Complaints

DriveTime Automotive GroupRefusal to honor extended service warranty/selling the car 4 times after it was returned and now selling the debt subjecting me to debtor harassment

In 2017 I got a care from Drivetime and paid $100 for extended warranty. Within a cooouple months the front end and brakes were acting up. The tires wer warped. Drivetime had said that if the had had problems "just take it to Pep Boys." When I did, Pep Bost said DriveTime refused to pay for servicing and I had to pay $488.94. The company ahs sold the car 4 times after it ws returned. It is an abuse of trust and FTC rules to not have fixed the came. The never said that they would cover theynecessary service repairs when I got the car. The car is now the subject of a major manufacturing recall on the braking system. This was the exact problems I had complained about.
