Instacart - They owe me $425.01 for being an instacart shopper

Instacart transferred 4 Cash Out payments in a row to a bank debit card that was not mine last month, April 2023, and I am still trying to get this money from them. Using the Chats to explain over and over every time I contact them is long and laborious.

I've sent pictures of my bank statements (I went to the bank and they agree that those 4 digits shown on the amounts not deposited are also not associated with any accounts at that bank which is my only bank) and the screens from the Cash Outs that show months of transactions going into my correct account number and then four going to the number that is not mine and then more after that going into my correct number again.

I am given the same response every time...The Team is looking at this so be patient and you will receive an email about it. I've been reading this response since May 4 and still there is no email, not in any of the four places possible one can receive an email. And no money. This is not extra money for me. This is a third of my income. I pay expenses with this hard-earned income.

Desired outcome: Contact someone who is able to pay me what they owe me. They can figure out how it got misdirected later!!!! Not my problem.

Instacart - Earnings

On Monday February 15 2020, I shopped for four individual people, plus three batches which were worth$30.00 plus at sprouts farmers market. When I got to the store, after getting stuck in snow for a while from my two previous deliveries after a snow storm, when I got to the store, and tried getting in, I was told that they were closed, so I notified the three customers I was shopping for as well as instacart of the situation and asked if I would be paid for my time and the agent then assured me I would and it would show up in my earnings after a little while. Well it never did and because I was still working. The agent immediately removed me from those batches which were no fault of mine. I continued working and assumed instacart would be honorable and keep their promise, however upon checking my earnings the next day Tuesday 2/16/2021 I noticed that instacart still had not paid me for the batch, much less the incentive for completing five batches. When I contacted them through the app, I was given the run around and passed around from one agent to another and I have evidence. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with such a deceitful company. I was working in harsh snow storm conditions and they didn't pay me what I earned, much less the promised incentives. Shoppers beware of this company. Instead, they offered me $12.38. I will have never shipped for three different people in a winter snow storm for that amount. But they decided to take advantage of me if I did not check my earnings, in spite of telling them what happened. I will not recommend working for such a company when they are not willing to pay what you earned. This is not the first time instacart has cheated me. They never talk to address problems. They only text through the app.

Desired outcome: Pay me all the money owe or else I will see you in court

Instacart - No delivery, lie, extra charge

Do not use this company. Ordered one bag (fruits, cheeses, crackers) for elderly uncle 12/18/20. Got email saying it was delivered 12/19. Called uncle Dec. 25. He never received it. He is 87 and has not left his house in Wisconsin since April due to Covid. I emailed Instacart Support. Said redelivery 12/26. Today is 12/26. I got a cancellation notice and was charged $15 by Instacart. Called them. They said it is because they can not deliver it so I was charged $15 cancellation fee. I feel like I am being punked. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

Desired outcome: Immediate refund / The World To Know DO NOT USE INSTACART

Instacart - Deactivating account without notice and resolution to a paid member

I am a frequent shopper of Instacart. I recently found out that my account is suddenly deactivated without any notice. I called and was told by Instacart associates that it's unknown why this happened. They referred me to the Trust and Safety. But they can't connect me with this Trust and Safety department of their own company.

I managed to find the email address of Trust and Safety of Instacart but no phone number. I emailed them but they claimed they can't find my account via my email. I provided my phone but never heard back.

Now I already paid the memberhsip fee recently and still have some store credits there in my account, I feel this is a wrong and unethical practice Instacart operates. Based my experience, more often than not I would receive items with lower price (such as non-organic) but be charged higher price (organic). I wonder if this mistake is due to the intention wanting to inflate the final payment I made therefore higher fees for everyone? There was also one incident that my account showed a refund. But I later (3 weeks later) called my credit card company and was told no credit appeared at all. I had to fight again with Instacart for this.

It appears to me, there's no accountability at this organization. A paid member is locked out for a few days and no resolution whatsoever. What can a customer go from here? A complaint to government agencies and/or other consumer protection bureaus?

I would like my account to be re-activated ASAP, or get full refund for my paid membership fee and the store credits given to my account.

Here is the email address I used to contact Trust and Safety:

Instacart - Online food ordering

After 3 days I would hit the button for proceed to check out and kept getting told no deliveries available from Shop Rite. Yesterday I did it around 0815 hrs. and the delivery chart showed dates (on separate lines for which you can choose from.) I choose the date of April 14th and a pop down afternoon time slot opened up for every half hour. Just as I was about to request my time slot the page disappeared and a pay option page appeared. I had one credit card assigned but choose to use a different one and hit add another card and entered the info. It was accepted. The next page popped up saying your delivery will be scheduled between April 14, 2020 to April 19, 2020 and the piker will contact you when placing your items. That's not what I asked for. Nor was I told before payment the date schedule as I specifically choose April 14, 2020. I made Juliana know of how dissatisfied I was and I was baited into paying before a notice of the spread date (14thru 19th) she offered to refund the money and I asked "are you going to credit my account AS FAST as you took it out or do I have to wait till 2 to 5 business days? She typed 5 days. Well, see? why cancel if your gonna hold my money now making it impossible for me to go anywhere else because I cant afford it right now. I'm so mad that the date that dropped down didn't warn me when I choose it. Furthermore, a time page starting at 3:00/pm with half hour intervals where offered and that screen disappeared before I can make my choice to how to pay. You guys did me dirty. I'm a first responder on the midnight shift and when I wake up in the afternoon I try to place my order (for the order date plus two days) I'm told no deliveries available at this time try again later. So I did it when I got home early in the morning and was pleased to see I got to yesterdays date but was SCAMED into making a credit card payment without knowing you guys where gonna switch it up on me after my choice. I take complaints from callers about the"BAIT AND SWITCH" move after payment. Sometimes it's civil. Other times it's criminal. I will deal with this issue on a higher level tomorrow. I know it wont happen soon do to this damn pandemic making it tuff for all of us including your employee's. I may or may not of excepted your true offer of April 14th thru the 19th. But because I was conned into sending payment not knowing the actual delivery date. I'm moving forward to the states attorneys office to see if I have a civil case or criminal case against Instacart company and founders, CEO and cooperate officers. I have my order and chat session snapped chat with Juliana and my order date. I'm not letting this one slid. Further more I will be posting on other social media to see if they were Conned as well to make a case. By the way I double tipped the delivery person because of the risk he or she are taking. Which is more than I can say due to your misleading or purposely deceiving tactics, Instacart 50 Beal Suite 600 San Francisco, CA 94107

Instacart - Grocery shopping

I used instacart to shop at vons in hermosa beach, ca. Not only do they charge a delivery charge of $3.99, but they charge a 5% service fee, and on top of that, they mark the items up at least 15%! This ends up being a lot of money. The markup is very deceptive unless you know where to look for it. And then they don't respond to email requests for explanation except with a form letter. This is a ripoff for consumers. I expect a delivery fee and a service charge, but the additional markup is uncalled for. It is especially hurtful to people like the elderly or handicapped who need to use a shopping service.
