Platt College Los Angeles

I am a current student as of 2023, some issue that I have run into is, financial aid boasts about how they keep the 1600+ money that is supposed to go towards my books, supplies, etc.. The Chromebook they gave me is super outdated and hardly worth $100 this is in new condition. The ebooks that they used most are under $200.. So I know for a fact they're not spending more than 1500 total money for the books and supplies. I told financial aid I would return my computer so that they can cut me a refund check of the 1600 from my tuition and I am able to buy my own supplies and books. Platt will not do this, I have a few disabilities that make it extremely hard for me to retain information and they also give me migraines to constantly stare at a screen for more than 6 hours. (if I were to read the chapters) I have tried to solve this issue by listening to the book instead of reading from the screen, but now I am failing my classes. Platt College has refused to assist me in any way to accommodate me even when I told them it was going to affect my grades and learning experience. I am looking into finding a good lawyer to assist me in filing a suit against this school. Please avoid this school if possible because they're very discriminatory and only care about money..
