Ultimate Savings$500 Walmart Gift Card


I got a call from them at 10:57am talking about my telephone number got picked for a $500 Walmart gift card because I shop there and my phone number is linked to my card . Their company name was " Smart Shoppers" I was very skeptical at first but he made it so believable ! He asked and provided information on what I was to do and I gave him my name, address and debit number ( for confirmation) . Later he told me to say yes for 3 forwarded message calls in order to get my confirmation number to activate it when I get the card. I did so and listened closely to what they were saying . All I could hear was about vouchers and coupons and ultimate savings. Both having Indian accents, The first guy I talked to his name was Austin Williams his so-called "employee ID" was 5021, the second guy was Justin Grey his was 09114 He was the person I was forwarded to to do the confirmation.They said all I would have to be charged was a one time fee of 4.95 for shipping to get the card to my house. I didn't even have to pay it now they said . They said I could pay it when I get the debit card. I got the confirmation number which was [protected] . As soon as I got home ( now ) I hopped online to do some research on them and turns out their scamming people. i checked my account and they already charged me 1.00 which my bank said that's how they make sure they have the right account. So I canceled my debit card with them immediately. Their not getting this one . I'm and18 year old female . I should have went with my fist instinct. DON'T GET SCAMMED. and never give anyone your Card Number online or social security ( even though they didn't ask, just for future reference) . Thank God it was just a dollar and I caught on quickly .

    I ALSO HAD TROUBLE WITH THIS COMPANY "SMART SHOPPERs" last year i was called on my home phone. the man was real nice . i had won a $1000.00 walmart card because of my phone # he was too charge my debit card 4.95, which he said would be done in about 7 days.after receiving my card number he became very, very, very rude. i was to say yes 3 times when this lady came on the phone, instead i said no------he then came back on the line hollering " i said to say yes" i told him then i was not interested in the magazines or anthing else. i would have been paiding for magazines up to 10years. I called the bank and found that the 4.95 had already been taken out. the only way to be rid of these people is to close your bank account. they are also promoting "safelock. they got so mad at me that refunded my 4.95 the bank said. i told them that they were con-artist and i was going to report them.i told them i couldn't afford $60.00 a month in magazines x 10 yrs. i will never forget that voice hollering into the phone. calls from out of country, i do not answer---i let my answering machine pick-up and they hang-up
