Day 1 - I went in to have video taken off a SD card and put onto my dual sim phone. Day 2 - various issues started with my phone on day one after I left the store including not being able to make or receive calls and an extra security measure to gain access that I didn't have before. I was told it was a problem with my service provider and to contact them...

uBreakiFix needs to be held accountable for their scams, intentionally damaged our $500 micro PC and $300 hoverboard to charge more for repair, but told on themselves because I had asked for a quote to upgrade not repair, both were running fine before we took it in, the PC was definitely not shorted out from water damage, got the diagnostic logs from the previous repair shop Compuzone Inc in Northwoods Charleston and even brought it to them again after and they agreed the PC had been intentionally damaged. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3M74LlnBuxM

iPhone 12 Pro Max Screen Repair
Update and resolution for a cracked screen phone that was taken into the East Cobb Location (30066) on Sunday 7/10:
Last Thursday (7/14), I was contacted by my Asurion Case manager, Daniel, and told that the company was going to reimburse me the full cost ($1000) for the iPhone 12 Pro Max that their technicians destroyed. The following day (Friday), I was notified by the East Cobb store that I could come by anytime to pick up the phone (still broken and untouched a second time).
I returned to the store today (7/19) and this is the part that I want to warn possible future customers to this franchise about.
I asked for my broke phone back and the guy (Logan) that called me to come and get it, told me that they couldn't release the phone to me and that I was only going to get $500 dollars back.
I immediately called Daniel and got him on the phone with Logan. Daniel told him that he had to give me back my phone and that the company (Asurion) had already issued my damages check as of the 15th. Logan still refused the directions from this corporate representative and said that the franchisee left him instructions not to release the phone without first collecting money from me for it. Essentially, I would be buying back my own phone which they themselves destroyed. Daniel then said to Logan that he would talk with the franchisee about this and told me to stay on the line.
He put me on a brief hold and then came back after allegedly speaking to the store franchisee. Daniel told me that the franchisee was "adamant" about keeping the phone and that I gave up the rights to it by accepting the reimbursement. At no point did I verbally agree to that nor did I ever sign off on such an agreement, I replied. Daniel then told me that the UBreakIFix website has it in their terms and conditions that in the event such a situation occurs, the company can keep my property.
Let me recap what just happened since all of this began.
UBreakIFix broke my iPhone in a way that shouldn't happen when all it needed was a screen crack-fix.
UBreakIFix didn't apologize for that and just handed me a brick back in return after 4 hours. This was 9 days ago at the time of this review.
UBreakIFix's parent company, Asurion, was called by me so that they could pay for the damages.
UBreakIFix has me wait 4 days for an answer to that legal demand.
UBreakIFix instructs me to take the phone back to the store so that a more qualified technician can look at it and see what happened. He then calls me and says that there is nothing that he can do for the phone.
UBreakIFix finally agrees to pay for the damages.
UBreakIFix tells me that I can come get the phone that they destroyed, since there's nothing that they can do.
UBreakIFix refuses to return the phone to me unless I pay them $500 for the device that I still legally own. This happened just 30 minutes ago.
UBreakIFix is not a company that you can trust.
I see 5 star reviews for this East Cobb store and I'm glad that those people were treated correctly. But, in my case, this business showed me that if they want a device bad enough, they will destroy it and claim it as theirs after you fight with them about their mistake (breaking the phone). They didn't break even, today. Their integrity and business ethics have been sold off cheap well before they wrote a 1K check out to me. Zero out of Five stars for this business. All potential customers are urged to steer clear if they value their devices.

Unethical behaviour
Have been to this store for 3 times, the first 2 times are fine, already enjoyed talking with the tall guy who is really nice. But today came in around 10:30am and a guy talked really aggressively to me and was picky on every word that I say. I asked about his name and he refused to give me.

iPad 5th Gen charge port repair
Dropped off an iPad 5th gen that worked perfectly, but needed a replacement charge port (was charging intermittently). Was told 1 week, due to the part having to be ordered. It took 2.5 weeks. I sent my daughter to pick it up. She paid and received the iPad, only to find that there was now a huge bubble under the screen. She asked for them to fix that and was told to return in 30 minutes. She came back and found that there were now what appeared to be scratches under the screen. She called me and I had her request a refund while they fixed it, and that we would return the next day to pay for it and pick it up. We came back the following day. They had "reverted" the repair (by presumably de-soldering the entire charge port connector), and had somehow either disconnected the battery or discharged it completely (and added "bonus" fingerprints under the screen). They said that they thought that she didn't want to pay, so they couldn't leave it repaired?! There is no way to tell if the screen even works now. I explained the miscommunication and asked them to complete the original repair and I would pick it up later that week. They said that the manager would not allow them to do any work on the unit. Very frustrating and very unprofessional. All we ever wanted was for the unit to be repaired, and in the same shape that we brought it in. We never asked for them to revert anything.

breach of warranty
On 4/24/2017 I went to a local UBreakiFix location with an iPhone 6s that was not turning on. I was advised to leave the device, and come back shortly after they diagnosed my phone or "unit" per contract.
When I returned later that day, I was told it was a dead battery that had to be replaced. They told me they would not touch perform any repairs, unless they knew what the issue was. After reading their 90 day Warranty policy which states the following...
"If the unit should malfunction, it must be returned to UBREAKIFIX store or service center for evaluation ... UBREAKIFIX's Customer Service Department will diagnose the repair immediately upon receipt. Upon examination by UBREAKIFIX, if the unit is found to be defective it will be repaired or replaced at no charge.
A week after, my unit died again and would only charge when it was off. I went back to UBreakiFix and they "repaired it" The next day, the same thing happened and they "repaired it again. About a week later, the same thing happened again and this time, they asked for me to drop the unit off for an extended time. When I returned, I was told it shouldn't give me any more problems.
Everything was fine until 6/11/2017 when my battery died again. By the way, they use aftermarket batteries, and to the best of my knowledge not certified by Apple. I went the next day and they refused to even look at my phone again. I was told I had a defective unit, and the batteries were being "shorted". If they fixed it again I may or may not have the same problem and offered me a refund.
I refused the refund and demanded the "defective unit" be replaced per their contract. I was then told, you either take the refund or walk away with nothing. I asked for an explanation as to why the warranty did not apply, and was told that they've already done enough. My phone is in pristine condition and less than 2 years old.
They forcefully gave back the $91.93 that they had gave back and re-affirmed that if I did not take it I would walk away with nothing. That same night I filed a complaint with corporate, spoke with "Nate" the following day.
Nate from corporate (Extension 2012) sided with the store and said they gave me a refund in lieu of the warranty and asked me to read the warranty. He clearly had no idea what the warranty stood for.
I now have a phone that Apple will not even look at because it was worked on by a 3rd party company and has aftermarket components. I was aware of this, and decided to go with Ubreakifix for what the warranty stood for.
Beware of UBreakiFix! Take your phone to your original store for repair. If this has happened to you with these crooks, share your story- this has all the markings of a class action lawsuit. There may be others out there just like me.

I agree! I took my 9.7" iPad Pro in for a new button. I was quoted about $55. However, the fine print on their work authorization sheet states if they break my screen while attempting the repair, then I am liable for it. Well, they broke the screen so now my button repair turned out to be way over $200.
Since they use 3rd party parts, the Touch ID on my iPad will never work again with their button. Every time I boot up the iPad, I get a nag screen that says TouchID not supported. Also, their 3rd party screen does not work properly with TruTone where the screen changes tint and brightness according to the surrounding conditions. The screen they gave me just cycles through the various shades fairly rapidly so I have had to disable TruTone as well. These are some of the problems you're going to run into with their 3rd party parts. Not to mention that Apple will never touch your device again!
Now, it's about one year later, and their replacement button has failed again. Im going to take it back and see if I can get it fixed under warranty. I doubt it, so I will probably just use the iPad Pro 9.7" as a dedicated Home Theater controller. Ive already ordered a new iPad Pro 11" anticipating that they won't or can't fix my button.
My recommendation for all newer Apple iPhones and iPads is to pay a little extra and get REAL Apple repairs. Many times Apple just swaps your device so now you are getting a phone with a new button, a new battery, a new screen, everything is back to the old Apple device you once loved.
They have waited for the detail and didn't return my phone
It was the first and the last time, when I used the services of Ubreakifix. 2 months ago I have sent my iPhone to this company for the repair. The rep confirmed that the phone was received and told me about the repair process. He provided the approximate price and I agreed to it. However, 2 months have passed and they continued for some detail. I asked to return my phone, but they haven’t listened to me.
