Tru Temp Heating and A/C, LLC review: Complaint

On July 29, 2021, Cy (owner of Tru Temp Heating and A/C, LLC) diagnosed my A/C unit as needing to be replaced and contracted to do the job for $3600 total. I put 50% down ($1800) and was told that because of COVID related supply issues that it would not be until November or December 2021 before our A/C unit came in. I did not hear from him. I waited until late February 2022 to reach out by phone, it took several attempts to get Cy to answer. He said he had my A/C unit, that he had been down with COVID the last couple weeks and that he would be reaching out in the weeks to come to schedule the installation. Again, I waited to hear from Cy but to no avail. I finally began calling him beginning on April 18, 2022 and by May 9, 2022 I had not heard from him after calling 9 times over that period. I have now secured an appointment with a lawyer to talk about legal steps I can take to either get my deposit of $1800 back or have the contract fulfilled.
