Tribe Management Tribe Management Inc

Tribe Management Inc. is not good. They keep raising fees and don't do anything to improve the quality of their work. They always make excuses and blame the strata for financial problems. Their advice is terrible and they've raised our strata fees three times the original amount. We're headed for disaster with this bad management. Don't use them.

Tribe Management Tribe Management was supposed to fix my door that had a crack in it

Tribe Management was supposed to fix my door that had a crack in it. They sent someone with glue and popsicle sticks, who had a baby with them. They said they hired this person. We still had to pay for this. I decided to replace the deadbolt myself so that at least the door would lock. However, the door is still broken after 6 months. During a strata meeting, I sent a message to Tribe and they sent an email to all owners saying that my door is broken. Now anyone can easily break in if they try. I have sent emails but have not received any positive answers. Since they do not respect my complaint, I have decided to post here.

Tribe Management Tribe Management is a big letdown

Tribe Management is a big letdown. I don't know if it's 'cause of Covid or what, but they never answer me back. I've been trying for a whole month to get help from my building manager, but Lara C won't reply to my calls or emails. When I vented on the building chat, it seemed like everyone else had the same problem. It's like they don't care, but they still take my money every month!

We live in a 49 unit building that serves a special (note: not low income) population called ***. The Management running this area is absolutely unprofessional. They always try to stop any questions about their management. For example, they don't allow anyone to move units, only in and out. It makes no sense and the only answer provided is that it is a "verbal policy". The only explanation is that they don't want to do it. This is not good. A good management company should listen to their tenants and try to help them. The people who work here are not helpful and they don't care about the people who live here. They also don't pass up complaints to the next level of hierarchy. This is not how a good company should work.

Tribe Management This company is the worst, don't rent from them!

This company is the worst, don't rent from them! My husband and I moved into one of their properties in October and it was not good. They didn't do a walk-through with us when we moved in and when it rained, water leaked into our apartment. This happened three more times and they didn't fix it properly. The apartment was dirty and not repaired before we moved in. The head manager, Robb, is not helpful and doesn't care about the tenants. When we moved out, they tried to charge us a cancellation fee even though we found someone to sublet our unit. They didn't send us an invoice and then threatened to send us to collections. The staff onsite is also unorganized and came to our apartment to ask when we moved in and if someone was living there. Stay away from this company!

Tribe Management Tribe is a big no-no for me

Tribe is a big no-no for me. I ain't living in their buildings, but I tried to talk to one of their community managers as a potential buyer. There's a unit in a building across the street from me that leaves their dog out on the balcony all day to bark. I contacted Tribe to deal with it, but the community manager was unresponsive. It took her ages to get back to me, and after three months of trying to solve the issue, I was told that because no residents had complained, they had 'determined' that my issue must be with the neighboring building. Even though I described the unit and have video of the dog, they won't take the issue seriously because I'm not a resident. Today, the dog has been barking all day again, and it's ruining my beautiful Saturday. I've seen a lot of residents trying to calm the dog down, so I can only assume that someone will eventually complain. But imagine being a resident and knowing that your strata had been made aware of a noise issue and done nothing for months. It's a total bummer.

Tribe Management We was so mad about it!

We was so mad about it! It's like they don't care about their clients at all. We had to keep calling and emailing them for weeks before we finally got a response. And even then, they didn't really explain anything, just said they would "look into it." It's really frustrating when you're trying to sell a property and you have to deal with this kind of nonsense. We definitely won't be using Tribe Management Inc. again in the future.

Tribe Management I got some worries 'bout how Tribe be handlin' customer data in they system

I got some worries 'bout how Tribe be handlin' customer data in they system. They say they top dogs in tech but they ain't keepin' up with they computer security standards. They ain't updated they website since 2019 but they say they audit every year. I done asked for documents 'bout they application security and what they doin' to keep us safe, but they employee said they don't keep updates 'bout security. VP Fiona say she got years of tech experience but she don't use no *** for her blog posts and servers for home management. They say they transparent on they website but when I warned 'em 'bout they security risks, they shut me up, banned my posts on they bulletin board, and silenced my account. They manager ain't even say sorry for they rude comments. I don't recommend usin' they services 'cause they ain't takin' care of our info and they ain't communicatin' well.

Tribe Management I had a really bad time working with Michella G*** at Tribe Management

I had a really bad time working with Michella G at Tribe Management. I emailed Michella for a letter of approval for an ***. I told her many times in my emails that this approval is very time sensitive and I need the approval letter to apply for the STR license from the City. As a single mom struggling to pay for the increase in mortgage, short term rental is the only way I can think of to help my financial burden. After three months waiting and doing what she asked me to do (provided answers to all the questions, signed the strata rules and guest guide, and paid outstanding balance on my account), she still refused to issue the approval letters. After several months back and forth communications, I received an email from Henry W on Dec 7 saying my application has been approved on Nov 29 and the admin team is processing it. I emailed back right away to ask how long it will take to process. No response. I emailed on Thursday, Friday and Monday. No response. Called Tribe and no one answered the call. Left voice message. Not received any call back. Called the customer service, the lady said there is no admin team in the company as of today. Are they too busy to respond to their customers or just lying? I pay my strata fee without getting any services. Instead, they are wasting my time by delaying issuing the STR letter. I ask Tribe Management to do their job and to issue the STR approval letter to me via email by Dec 15, 2022. I also ask Tribe Management to apologize to me for their negligence. I reserve the right to sue Tribe for my rental income loss due to the delay on issuing the approval letter.

Tribe Management been trying to get this sorted out for almost a year now and it's been a real hassle

been trying to get this sorted out for almost a year now and it's been a real hassle. I don't think it's fair that I have to pay for something that wasn't my fault, especially during a tough time in my life. I hope Tribe Management can look into this and come to a fair resolution. It's frustrating that I can't get in touch with anyone through email or phone, but hopefully this review will get their attention. Overall, I'm not happy with my experience with Tribe Management and I wouldn't recommend them to others.

This company does below the bare minimum and have zero integrity. Our office building has had numerous organized burglaries and they can’t be bothered to make sure the front building door is locked securely at night. This has gone on for months and the crime continues to escalate.
