Filled out rental application with Townes at university for a rental for my daughter, she spoke with them in person and was told that everything looked good and she would have no problem getting in. She paid the $350.00 that they required for application fee and admin. fee. Afterwards they called me and said that she didn't qualify due to rental history that I had for an apartment in 2019, I owned a house in 2019, I tried to get more information from her but she, the lady that called me and didn't give her name, but she would only say that someone would call me back, it's been approx.3 weeks and no callback. Been trying to get someone, no one answers the phone. I tried explaining to her that I did not live in an apartment during this time and had owned my home since 2013. My daughter was in their office when another person came in that was promised a unit and was told that they didn't have anything available. How many people have they collected $350.00 from only to tell them the same story?
Desired outcome: get my $350.00 back , plus the $1325.00 that I had to pay for anther unit for my daughter to live in.
