Top Spot Marketing promised me and my computer repair company a "GUARANTEED" number 1 listing on Google.
I was promised 5 "LUCRATIVE" key searches on a 30 day contract, at a cost of around £100+VAT.
After 20 or so days...no phone calls...no jobs, I contacted TOP SPOT MARKETING to see what phrases I had been allocated, one of my phrases was " computer repair shop in greater manchester"...what a joke !
I cancelled my agreement but TOP SPOT MARKETING took a further 3 payments from my card.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE GUYS !

This company is a complete scam. They will not follow through with anything they promise and have terrible customer service. The only way to get them on the phone is to send a cancellation email. Please please please do yourselves a favor and avoid them at all costs! I got stuck in an annual contract and saw literally ZERO benefit from them. Complete waste of my money

Top Spot Marketing telephoned me and told me they were Google and were offering advertising that would place you in the top spot's on the Google site. They took my credit card number to set up the account with Google and to confirm my ability to authorise the advertising. They took payment it seems while they were taking the number from me and have done nothing at all. THEY ARE NOT GOOGLE and they should be stopped from pretending to be. Trading standards and Google should shut them down. Credit card companies should refuse them the ability to take payments this way. These are SCAM artists and even when you try and argue that they were not authorised to take any payment they threaten you with a CCJ if your credit card company take back the payment. Surely the legality of taking a payment and not providing anything for it is against the law at least.

I have been using Redglow Solutions for the last few months for my cleaning business. To say business has taken off since starting to use them is an understatement!

I am consistently in the top 3 adverts when searching google for cleaners in my area and I have risen through the ranks of the 'organic' listings far quicker than i anticipated.

The staff are always really helpfull when I call them about any matter relating to my campaign. They are always polite and deal with any of my enquiries quickly.

The cost is also absolutely great and compared to the amount of revenue I have gained as a result of using them pales into insignificance.

I would highly reccomend them to anybody who wants to have a thriving business.

These are customer reviews from Redglow Solutions

Redglow Solutions, what can I say? I’ve been in business for over 25 years & in that time I’ve dealt with numerous companies, some dealings haven’t been satisfactory. However, I have been utilising Redglow Solutions services for over two & a half years & have always found them to be professional. Their services are always to a high standard & I would have no hesitation in highly recommending them to promote your company. There are numerous similar companies offering these type of services, but be assured that Redglow Solutions actually deliver what they say!

Dear Rob

I hope you and the team are all well.

I wanted to thank you for all your support over the last year and to pass on some good news.

As a result of our Google advertising with RedGlow, we have secured another portfolio client who will be transferring six properties over to Unique Lettings in the next quarter.

Engaging this this particular client will cover the cost of all our advertising with RedGlow Solutions for the next 12 months.

Pound for pound we have found no other advertising medium that generates the same level of consistent return.

I must admit, I was skeptical, however, I am pleased to have been proved wrong.

I would highly recommend your business and look forward to another year of great returns.

Thank you once again and keep up the good work.

Kind Regards,

Trevor Dale

Having a huge dispute with them at the moment also. Did you know they record all their telephone calls!
If you have an issue you should call them back tell them you want a copy of all communications they have with you emailed to you - this will then have to put them in writing via email and however under the data protection act they pust provide you with a copy of recorded communication that they hold if requested. They will charge you £12 but its well worth it...

I read these comments a week ago and thought some were a bit harsh, but as my experience with this company deepens I think it's all of the above, and more. This company misrepresents itself, it can not guarantee 1st page ads and Google themselves will tell you that. In my case I ended up with a second month I really didn't want, and Topspot want me to pay for it (£180) which would be all well and good if my ads had been reasonably situated on Google. Sadly, that wasn't the case and as far back as I went I still could not find my company's ads even though when challenged, they were adamant they were there and they could prove it !...They can't prove it because it never happened, and I can prove that beyond doubt, but this has not stopped them trying to dip into my bank account and sending me reminders to pay and even adding a £180 cancellation fee that's not mentioned in the agreement...In short they want to be paid for NOT providing the service they offer, and think they will bully me out of £360 to get them off my back. Well, it won't work like that, this company are indulging in fraud and that makes them crooks so anyone who is reading this to get a picture of how Topspot Marketing operate, take note and give them a very wide berth.

I was contacted by them today offering me the same but I told them I was already working with someone else - I refused to give them the details of the company or my new website address as I didn't trust them. I had already had Redglow Solutions do nothing for me for £180 for one month for something similar and Answer-it for a facebook campaign that was useless.

I am a Golf Professional and got told that my advert would reach 15, 000 people on Facebook in the first month, I paid £166 and got no business at all, apparently listening to other advertising companies the advert was probably posted at 3am and seen by drunks wanting to write on their mates walls at this time in the morning when they have just got home, , Please don;t advertise with these people. I cancelled my subscription the day after the first advert apparently went out, I was able to get out quickly but had several phonecalls enquiring why I was wanting to cancel, I simply said I would give it a 1 month trial and I'm glad I did.. Never Never again

Top spot is the worst company to work for. Now don't be fooled by the rubbish they fill you in about money and have a basic of 20k They sell u the business and make you feel secure give you a five day trial but get rid of you before it ends. No training even though they say you will have full training. No feedback takes people on and then uses them for sales and then don’t pay you anything it’s a disgrace. Do not take the job it’s a SCAM. Also I would like to add they say you can cancel your months trial with Google although don’t say it has to be written and that is how they get more money. They guaranteed you to be on the first page of Google, pfffffffffff as if. So if you want your business to be successful DO NOT SIGN UP WITH TOP SPOT. Also do not take a job from them scam they can’t get away with this. They lie cheat and bully customers and try and make you do it. It is outrageous. CONTACT GOOGLE DIRECT BEST OPTION.

I have had many calls from companies offering me this service. All with the same area code and all offering the very same service. Lucky for me, my former profession was as an IT consultant, so when they start trying to baffle you with science about the internet, I can keep up and challenge what I was being told. On more than one occasion the sales rep was very pushy after I asked for time to think about whether I wanted to go forward with the advertising. Then today for the first time I actually paid attention to the company name, thanks to this page all my suspicions have been confirmed. I will not be tempted by any of these calls again. My advice would be to contact google directly for a list of approved ADword companies.

I have today been contacted by Top Spot Marketing. Unfortunately for them, although I pretended to be interested, It sounded suspiciously like another scam I was caught out with last year Dotcom Chrome! Fortunately for me, my bank sorted things out, paid me from the date I cancelled with Dotcom and then went after them for the £1200 taken from my account. I suspect that both organisations are the same company or from the same source. The tell tale signs that without being Sherlock Holmes, I have deduced that these companies are one of the same are as follows; 1)Exactly the same service 2)Same area code for telephone number 3)Payment by credit card 4)No contract. Top Spot Marketing are calling me again tomorrow to find out if I am committing to their service. Guess what my reply will be!

The same thing happened to me, I took a trial month of £100 to place an ad with Google in January, decided to cancel in February after not receiving any referrals to my therapy business. I was assured by telephone (yes not in black and white I know!) that £180 for the next subscription would be refunded and to date it has not.
I have contacted my credit card company they will try and retrieve the lost monies, plus they have replaced my credit card number so no further money can be transferred.
Perhaps Google should know that there name and reputation are being abused as well as small businesses.

Yes. I had same problem. Told it would be £100 trial for one month. They sent me an invoice for £166. Told I would not have to write in to cancel as the next month would not continue unless I asked them to continue. Document then sent to me stated I had to write in to cancel one month in advance! Phoned company to inquire. No one got back to me. Phoned again - got put through to someone only to be told any complaint I had would take 28 days to investigate. Told I could not cancel my trial as there is no cooling off period. Should have listened to my gut instinct. Very disappointing they do this to people.

If it were a scam they WOULD have been shut down by google by now sinse according to the business registers they have been trading sinse 2008, GET A GRIP, yes there are lots of scammers out there but you cant just go around calling companies scam artists. Trust me if they were a scam company posing as a reputable company they would not be trading, google would have shut them down quicker then you could say scam. Looking at the site http://www.topspotmarketing.co.uk they are just an advertising company providing google first page adverts and facebook adverts. Yes you could do it your self but do you know anything about google, if not you could end up spending a fortune on a useless campaign. Checked with google and they are indeed a google accredited company so face it your WRONG. This company would never tell you their from google, this would completely risk their google adwords account which is the only source of income for them. FACE IT, you gave them your money to advertise, it didnt work, now your angry. If you advertised in a local newspaper and paid for the advert and didnt get any response from the advert at all, would you plaster the internet and call them a scam because they didnt give you your money back for somthing you agreed to, i doubt it, im suprised they havent found out who you all are and sued you all for slander yet. As for the CCJ, tough - you should have bit your tongue and paid your bill for the advertising they probably provided you with.

Try listening to what they say, why didn;t you choose the key words your self. If your a computer repair shop in greater manchester then why wouldn't they assume your wanting business in that area. Don't avoid just be more thorough about the keywords you want.
