There are apparently now over 20 people that have purchased bulldogs in the past from Todd Howard that are gathering paperwork and filing declarations with the District Attorney against Todd Howard and his wife the illegal steroid nut and child abusers whom prey on and bully women whom buy dogs from them. These sick conartists even sent a box of dildos to a womans husband to try to keep her from telling the truth about them. It;s now coming. The have lied and ripped off too many people and they will soon be arrasted and you will be able to watch as they are prosecuted for it.
Call the Board of Vetinary Medicine whom has now opened another investigation as these guys ignored the Cease and Desist letter issued and have continued to administer medications illegally to pets just to hide the problems caring NOTHING about the animals or the public. Just read it all at our friends website who one of which was the attorney instrumental in having him barred from the AKC.

you must be talking about someone else...there are hundreds of online complaints and he is under federal investigation
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
We bought our bulldog and he is incredibly healthy, happy and incredibly sweet. He almost never barks, he plays often and then sleeps, JUST LIKE BULLDOGS ARE SUPPOSED TO DO! He has been checked by abet who does all bulldogs and deemed healthy. At his site I wished we could have seen some younger dogs but they weren't for sale yet. Ours was 12 weeks old and perfect with good coloring and a sturdy bully body. I have called Todd several times for help and he always responds. I think the price was fairly reasonable. We have not had ONE health problem but if we do, it's probably because many bullies have health issues. Ever thought of that, whoever is suing Todd? Meanwhile who gives a crap if he is on roids. So relevant. NOT. Anyway, our experience was good and our dog is fabulous. Fun, healthy, quiet, wrinkly, and snores like a you know what. We love him.
He's not an upstanding breeder.
I went to visit and buy a particular pup whose pic stated she was 8 wks.
When I got there she was in fact 3.5 months old.
I looked at others due to wanting a younger pup but all there legs were disfigured and bent. Very disturbing.
I ended up taking orig pup since driving 6 hrs.
Upon getting this girl home I came to realize she must have lived in that cage all of her life.
I could have her outside gor hours and the only place she would poop was in her cage.
All dogs were in very small cages.
My girl had splotches if missing hair as well where he gave me mange treatment.
The only dogs he has there that paper to have any kind of life are his two.
The others are basically merchandise on shelves.
Just gross.
We bought our bully a month ago. When we picked him up we were told he had a cough and we're instructed by Todd to give him a pill twice a day... The cough persisted... I texted Todd to let him know the cough wasn't getting better and I was thinking of taking him to the vet. He instructed me to continue with the meds and not to waste money on the vet as it would be the same treatment... We took our puppy to the vet the next day... They told us he had kennel cough and an ear infection! They prescribed cough pills and antibiotics... The vet said she couldn't identify the pills that Todd provided to us!
So happy I didn't take his advice...
Even though we had this bad experience, Our puppy is a gorgeous bully with all the traits- we get tons of complement every day! I love him to death!
This guys is friggin psycho. I called to inquire about available pups due to having to sadly euthanize my current beloved Frenchie and he verbally attacked my decision and ability as an owner (of three French Bulldogs, no less). I've never before met or spoken to this guy. Maybe he hadn't taken his meds yet? After hanging up on him, emotionally drained, he attempted to call back and then texted me. I finally had to write a "Cease and Desist" text at him...to which he responded, "Haha lol ok." I'm more than a little freaked out that he's going to show up at my doorway.
I have very mixed emotions about him. I purchased a French bulldog from him 4 years ago and she has been the greatest dog, in amazing shape, prime traits, my vet always raves about her! She has been very healthy for the most part in the exception of mange as a puppy which Todd helped treat and cure. I did always find it odd that he had the ability to offer medications/drugs for his dogs so easily and on hand. He insisted that we give her ivermectim shots monthly which I stopped doing after about 9 months because she disliked it so much. She has been healthy ever since until the past month she began having seizures or muscle spasms. Vet feels its neurological because the incidents are unrelated and spaced out. Besides the few she's had she is behaving as normal physically and mentally. Blood tastes came through fine however, I sent a video of get mid recent episode to my vet today. Will update once I hear but I would be weary of Todd Howard and many other breeders, it's unfortunate that's what it's come to. But he never gave me a good feeling and always seemed like a know it all tough guy. Has anyone seen his silly show on Spike?
We purchased a 3 month plus old english bull dog from Todd, he is over two years now with ABSOLUTLEY NO problems we actually take him to Dr. Butchco a BULLDOG Vet in Riverside! I have noticed since owning my Bully that people buy these dogs and do not do enough research on HOW...you should take care of them! Almost everyone I meet thinks they are problematic! CRAP! It is the owner that is responsible for PROPER care! This Dog is NOT a backyard feed em and Leavem! My dog RUNS JUMPS and Climbs Does Tricks Speaks and has pearly whites and gorgeous muscles and a bright white coat! I take exceptional care of MY Bully! I still feed him IAMS just as TODD said and he is healthy and beautiful! I get compliments on him always! And his temper is wonderful! I think there is somethin else going on here...I would buy another dog from Todd in a heart beat!
Beware of this guy. Todd Howard is pretty dodgy and its not the first time he's done it.

I advise to steer clear. Mr. Howard should go back to school and get a veterinarian degree before claiming his expertise to the public. He has some very unhappy clients.
We purchased a beautiful brindle Bulldog from the Howard's three years ago and had a wonderful experience. At that time we had many questions and Mr. Howard was extremely responsive and even ofered us his personal cell phone number. I am very saddened to report that this week our Bulldog past away with heart failure. We are devastated and are now left questioning how and why our beautiful dog passed away at such a young age. In addition to our Bulldog's bad heart she was also quite small for her age and breed... ? Please do your research and make sure your breeder is reputable (we did our homework and look where we ended up... sad and broken hearted!) Good Luck...
A owner came in today with one of Todd's English bulldog puppies to our animal hospital and I have NEVER seen a puppy act like this before... The puppy would not move or have any personality. It was quite UPSETTING to see a puppy act like this. Vaccines were not done right.. Who doesn't give rabies until a year old? Really what a law suit if the dog bit someone. Owner is getting a full refund and even commented that Todd was surprised that he kept her that long... All I can say is WOW and STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS BREEDER!
I don't know anything about the abuse allegations. But I have met three English Bulldogs in the LA area that came from this breeder. They are horrible examples of the breed. I have a show quality English Bulldog and these poor animals look nothing like what the breed is supposed to. One had such a distended jaw that it looked like an evil Gremlin. The other's demeanor is really hyper and not typical of a bulldog. His head is also too small and he is too tall, looking like a Boxer. The other looked half Mastiff. All of the owners said they got them from Todd Howard. I don't know the guy, but I warn people who ask where to get a Bully not to go to San Diego.
I don't know about falsifying documents and writing prescriptions but Todd is not a scam artist at all. Obviously if you say this you have not done business with him. I have him to thank for my beautiful bulldog and could not be happier. He does not abuse animals and kids either these claims are not valid at all and are quite stupid to put simply.
How do you sleep at night telling lies like this ?

You are not Todd's employee, and never have been.
You are a man who purchased dogs from Todd, 4 years later, decided to have a kid and neglected your dogs, and called them 'sick'.
Todd rescued them from you and they were healthy and happy within 2 weeks.
Innocent parties reading this.. if you are interested in owning a bulldog, visit the facility and meet Todd yourself.

I also recommend doing your own independent research on the AKC in general and how it promotes the inbreeding and death of non-'perfect' animals .

this complaint is NOT from an employee .. it is from an individual who had a legal judgment served against him for other business with mr howard. it is quite evident based on the misinformation provided - who in the hell genetically alters dogs.. and even when called on that idiotic claim, keeps posting it all over the internet ?
