Got the name of this person from the distributor of Design Essential products. Went to her for the 1st time in February to try Design Essentials new product that is supposed to keep you from losing your hair while you transition from relaxer to natural hair. The 1st time was fine. 2nd time even better, for I got the hair style I just loved. But the 3rd - the 5th time was just terrible. This person got upset with me for me talking to a fellow beautician at her establishment! Nothing negative said, but in her mind, her clients don't have conversations with other beauticians?
Next thing I know, when she changes out my weave(I had a partial weave in the front of my hair to have long slanted bob look) she CUTS my hair when she cuts the weave out!...And in doing the color, the color she uses, if that is all she used, makes my hair shed awfully!. Our last appointment (March 5th) she was so off the plantation, she changed my hair style from the style I had, i had to insist she put it back 3xs, it took me 4.5 hours to have a color, wash and blow dry, in which, she burnt my hair so bad it broke off in pieces! I am suing this person, but I want everyone to beware this is not the person to go to. She may act professional for the first several appointments, but then, she shows her true colors and it is not good, you will have no hair. Now I'm in braids until my hair grows back out.
I am confused by that complaint. Tia is by far the best stylist that I have ever visited. She takes the time to explain whatever issues you may be having with your hair to always suggesting what you can do to improve the state of your hair. I was recommended by a friend who I always complimented on her hair and how healthy it was after her visits. Tia is all about healthy hair, so this person obviously had her opinion about her visits with Tia but her hands help promote growth and healthy hair. I would recommend her to anyone that needed a stylist.
My sister goes to Tia and her hair is beautiful. Every time she cuts her hair its growing. Tia don't let this negative comment get to you. One negative comment can not out weigh the positive. Tia suck it up and keep doing what you do. As a rising stylist you know that we can't please every one that we come in contact with. From here on out do a full consultantion (45 min) and have them fill out an Client Intake Form. This will cover you if this ever comes up again. Girl you are good at what you do!
I can hardly believe that this complaint is even VALID! Tia has been doing my hair for 5 years and introduced me to the "Strengthening System by Design Essentials". My hair had hit a road block and I had stopped coming in to Tia on my regular bi-weekly schedule due to my hectic work schedule for about 3 months. When I returned that's when Tia introduced me to the system. With the system, it strengthened my hair back up and made it even thicker than before! I was even able to get 2 different colors put into my hair, and guess what? I HAD NO BREAKAGE OR HAIR LOSS WHAT SO EVER! When transitioning from any type of chemical your hair automatically will shed a little. I have had the system put in my hair 2 times and I can not only see the difference in my hair but can feel it! So to whoever made the original complaint, you must have some other type of issue going on with you, because Tia doesn't break hair, she GROWS HAIR! If you are in the Charlotte area, I highly recommend Tia Little as a hair stylist.

I, myself am confused at the disgruntled, unsatisfied client? WOW is all I can say and shame on this lady for trying to ruin my stylist of 7 years Tia Little reputable reputation...Tia put myself on the strengthening therapy system after I have had perms for years! The system really works! I wish I had pictures to show of my hair and how healthy it is! I did the big chop in May of 2012 and stayed natural for 8 months. One day I came in to Tia and told her I needed a relaxer she complied with me and put the relaxer in by Design Essentials, she only gave me one relaxer and transitioned me into the Design Essentials Strengthening System. After 1 year, Tia has grown my hair out from 1 inch to a HEALTHY AND THICK HEAD OF HAIR THAT IS PAST MY SHOULDERS AND HANGING ON MY BACK! If Tia did not grow and do healthy hair I would not have had her as my stylist for 7 years, as I am funny about who puts their hands in my hair. I even have Tia doing my 12 year olds hair who has cerebral palsy plus I have referred her to many other people whom are very satisfied with Tia's services and are still faithful clients. Tia is very patient, professional and one heck of a stylist! If anyone is looking for a wonderful stylist who believes and practices in healthy hair, Tia is your lady!
This complaint confuses me... I've been a client of Tia's for 2 years now and I must say I am extremely pleased with my hair. She is very professional and knowledgeable in her line if work. I wish u the best but no changing my mind. I'm sold out to my stylist, Tia!
Sorry for your complaint but Tia does my hair now and will continue to do my hair with her growing hand. You cant please them all. My hair is fabulous.
