I called to enquire about the car, just as I was about to research the Company the man called me back and was pressure selling over the telephone.

I am going to try to resolve this in the first instance.

Failing that, I will also be taking him to court!

The guy behind this operation is called Anthony John Evans. Trades as "sbiac67" on eBay, trades from his property in Dunchurch, used to be involved with a company called "The Warwickshire Motor Company" which now doesn't exist.

Sold us a Mondeo that was riddled with problems, right now I've got a list of 11 fault codes relating from fueling issues, cam timing issues, turbo boost issues, DPF failed shortly after purchase, tried to obtain a repair through him as per s.23 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, he refused, ignoring me, then sending nonsense emails when I presented him with an invoice. Odious little man with no morals or self respect.

I've issued proceedings against him directly in the County Court, trading standards are aware of his operation, avoid buying from him, you have been warned.

Lives at 30 Russell Avenue, Dunchurch, Rugby. Also runs Dunchurch post office with his wife... but you didn’t hear it from me.

Wish I had seen this before I got caught like all the above, Purchase went exactly the same, deposit given, car delivered and driver left in a rush with CASH! all censor lights light up like Blackpool sea front, ring TONY he offers to pay garage bills, then no communication! He got aggressive via text...nothing since. this was 06-06-18

Another victim here. Saw the vehicle advertised on eBay. Phoned and discussed with Tony from the company. Couldn't have been more helpful.

Made him aware that it was a 3hour run for me to collect, so paid nominal deposit via PayPal and agreed PX on my vehicle.

Vehicle looked mint in pictures, and Tony even supplies more pictures via a lady he informed me was his partner.

I agreed to buy. Arranged a day off work to collect.

Collection day started OK, until enroute Tony informed me he was now busy, so I'd have to meet his employee Richard at another address.

Turned out Richard was at a random council house (his parents?) And Tony was "at the accountant".

On arrival the vehicle was sufficiently rougher than in the pics. Additionally, the MOT sheet had 1/2 page of niggles/advisories.

I wasn't amused, called Tony 3x no answer.

Richard was silent, didn't seem fazed. Calls Tony, who answers immediately.

Agreed a £200 (4%) discount to allow for the immediate required repairs; tyre, brakes.

Drive well on test drive. So, somewhat unsure we agreed the deal. Paid over the phone. And left.

The next day the clutch began to drop to the floor. messaged Tony via eBay, as to allow for tracking of the messages and given blunt responses offering to look at it, but no time soon and non-commital dates. Also wouldn't give an address as "you won't find it mate".

I took the vehicle to a local garage who specialises in that brand, they assessed and produced a quote to rectify, £700

Several calls & eBay messages to Tony later, he agrees that my local garage can do the work. He will pay for the parts only.

By now, I just need the car on the road, so agree.

Anyway, 2 week later, vehicle now rectified. £500+ bill paid.

Tony is nowhere to be contacted.

Buyer beware, trades as a dealer but nowhere close in terms of reputation.

I to have had dealings with this so called company, the address don't belong to the company name and when you phone you are told to go to a private address where you find another person. I purchased a car off this company and after driving it home the dual mass flywheel & clutch went, after 27 miles after many calls& texts to Richard & Tony to pay for the repair they stopped answering calls & text messages even after I had offered to take the faulty parts and report to them they ignored my efforts, even though i was only asking for half of the total cost which was £625 I even tried pay pal for a refund which they declined. This pair have got to be stopped ripping people off and advertising on eBay & using pay pal who people trust. If any does see this pair advertising report them and I advice in my opinion everyone to steer clear of them.

I have also had bad dealings with this bloke calling himself a car trader.I bought a car with three months warranty from him and as soon as I started it up the engine light came on.But he had already driven off ? We agreed to get it fixed through a garage and he would pay the bill. When it was fixed he refused to pay and it ended up costing me £600. I took him to a small claims court and won the case but when the bailiffs go around his house to collect my money he denies that hes trading as Warwickshire motor co. And theres nothing they can do. Please dont deal with this man as hes nothing more then a low life con man who would have no problem ripping his own grandmother off.
