The Real Leather Company review: No refund policy

Hi there! I recently ordered a leather briefcase for my husband for Christmas from the real leather company online. I received it after a couple weeks and the packaging was very poorly done and I could tell immediately upon opening it that I was gonna regret my purchase after sitting on it for about a week I contacted the company which declares that you have 30 days to return your purchase. I was well within my window, but they told me that I could not return it because it had been on sale after Christmas. It was not a clearance Mind you but just a regular sale. I spent a lot of money on that briefcase and I would’ve never ordered it. Had I known that I could not return it. I had lots of options online, but chose their company out of good faith. The fact that I cannot return it, and that I am stuck with it infuriates me. Anyone else had this experience?
