The Law Office of Roland Brown review: Paid $2500.00 for a service that was never received.

On March 8 2021, I met with Mr. Roland Brown at his law office on 2514 Maryland Avenue, Baltimore Maryland 21218. It was in reference to obtaining a lawyer for my son. After discussing my son's case with him and showing him the paper work he stated to me that my son was being held illegally, and he would be able to get him released. At that time he was paid $2300.00 and was paid the remainder $200.00 later that week for a total of $2500.00. When he finally spoke to my son it was April of 2021. At that time he requested that Mr. Brown file a Habous Corpus and Mr. Brown said that he did. When I called the Courts Clerk they told me nonething had been filed on my sons behalf. I tried numerous times to contact Mr. Brown but he did not answer or return my phone calls for months. My sons girlfriend was also with me the first day of meeting Mr. Brown and paid the last $200.00. We have the paid in fill receipt, After that last visit with her they never answered her calls or retuned her phone calls. She decided to call from a different number and that's when they answered her. Since I couldn't get in touch with him I went down to his office months later. He wasn't expecting me and was there and answered the door. I told him what the Courts Clerk stated and I also told him my son said he hadn't received any paper work or visits from him. Finally in November 2021 he filed the paper work for Habous Corpus and filed it with the wrong I.D number. He finally refiled it and the Judge denied it because Attorney Brown didn;t file an Affidavit with it.
