I gave The Designs Zone a whopping $6,000.00 to design my website and create an application. I was excited to see what they would come up with, but after 8 months, 4 different designers, and a bunch of other problems, I was left with a homepage that needed some serious editing. It wasn't even close to being a finished site, and they didn't even start on the application like they promised in writing. We had to provide all the content ourselves, and they didn't contribute anything.

The only thing they seem to be good at is taking money for work they haven't done yet. We had to get our corporate attorney involved to file a legal suit against them. We were originally just asking for a partial refund, but now we're going after them with everything we've got. They don't even bother calling us anymore to try and sell us more services or collect more money for work they haven't done.

I've been dealing with The Designs Zone for almost 2 years now, trying to get my website launched. They literally held my website hostage, even though I paid nearly $3500 for their services. They dragged their feet for weeks and weeks to finish just one project, and asked for crazy amounts of money for simple plugins. Their service is horrible, and their communication is even worse. They're holding my website hostage and asking for money for services they didn't even do. I paid for mobile responsiveness on my website, and I've been waiting for months for it to happen. I wasted $350 on that service, and it's still not working. They were supposed to connect my email to my domain months ago, and it's still not done yet. They tell you that their turnaround time is 48 hours, but it never ever happens. Now they're asking for $900 for a service that I don't even need. All of my domains have expired, and they're asking for $600 to renew them. I've never gotten any alerts or emails stating that my domains were about to expire. I recently had an experience with The Designs Zone and it was not a good one. I was extremely disappointed with the product they delivered and if I could give them no stars, I would. They promised me a satisfactory product and guaranteed it, but unfortunately, they did not deliver on their promise. To make matters worse, they spoke of policies that I was never informed of in writing or email.

The company also made promises that they never followed through on. I paid for a backend portal to which I cannot use, not even to put pictures of my products up. When I reached out to them about this issue, I was told that I must upgrade to be able to use it. I was asked to pay more money for a product that I could never use to make money on. In fact, I have to pay another website developer to somehow fix my problems.

I have emails, texts, messages, receipts, and proposals, and none of them ever mentioned needing to upgrade. I paid over $1,000 in total, and it was a complete rip-off. In this time we're living in, where we're trying to find ways to make ends meet and pursue our dreams while we're in a recession and pandemic, it's unacceptable for people from another country to take our hard-earned American money and feel like they can just get away with it.

Every person I spoke to had a fake American name with a Pakistani accent. Also, someone from this company tried to sign into my Google account, and as you know, Google has your location, time, and phone information. Before you put any money up, try American first.

I inquired for a website developer on Bark, and they responded. However, my website, right along with my dream to own a business, has been tarnished by this very hurtful robbery of an experience. I want a refund ASAP, and I won't let my money go to waste.

The worst part is that they will force you to accept what they propose, not what you are looking to build. They will try to tire you out and make you give up, so that over time you consider it better to lose your money than to continue working with them. This is a very old method of dishonest companies, and it's sad to see that The Designs Zone is still using it.

As a result of my experience with this company, I decided to file a claim with my bank to get my money back. In a few days, my bank returned the money to me. I blocked all communication with this company. However, today I received a suspicious attempt to access my email account and later a call from this company claiming that they had won the case and that I should pay the rest of the money. After hanging up the phone, I called my bank and explained what happened. My bank told me that they did not know why The Designs Zone made those statements in that call because the case was closed in my favor.

I have reason to believe that this company mixes regular activities with illicit activities. It's important to read all the reviews, not just the positive ones or the ones that suit your expectations. You will see what I'm talking about.

If you're thinking about hiring The Designs Zone, here are some things you should keep in mind:

1. Do not hire this company.
2. If you still want to make the mistake of hiring this company, do not pay the full amount. The fair thing is to pay half and when your project is delivered you pay the rest.
3. Make sure the invoice is issued by The Designs Zone. The charge on your statement must be also made by The Designs Zone. If it appears as creativewriterlife or any other name, The Designs Zone could scam you without consequences for them, only you will lose money and you will not have tools to defend yourself.
4. If after 2 months there is no significant progress in your project, simply give up and claim your money. Put a claim in your bank before 90 days. It is the term you have so that your bank can help you.
5. If you still went ahead and lost your money and time, you can file a claim with IC3 (Interner Crime Complaint Center) IC3 dot gov. That will contribute to more eyes on this company.
6. Write your opinion on all the opinion sites you can, more people will be alert to such danger.
7. Do not give much personal data to this company, these people work through intimidation.

I recently discovered another way in which this company circumvents the tools that users have to show the true face of fraudulent companies. When they billed me, they did not do it under the name of The Designs Zone but under the name of creativewriterlife dot com. So they appealed to Trustpilot about my review, and Trustpilot demanded a screenshot that clearly shows the billing of The Designs Zone. But the invoice I have is not an invoice made by The Designs Zone but from creativewriterlife. You have to be alert. If the invoice that The Designs Zone sends you does not appear with the name The Designs Zone, you must cancel immediately. The reason is simple: if you don't cancel, they will scam you. And they will be able to use the terms and conditions of Trustpilot in their favor to eliminate your review.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against hiring The Designs Zone. They have questionable standards and are not trustworthy. If you do decide to work with them, be very careful and follow the steps I outlined above. Don't let them take advantage of you.
