The Basset Kennel review: Scam - non delivery 4

Elite Basset Hounds has changed their name to The Basset Kennel.

In fall 2020, they changed their name to The Basset Kennel and updated their Facebook page with the new name.

I made a deposit for a puppy ($1500) in the summer of 2020, was later offered a "special" on an upgraded package that asked for more money ($800). Luckily this second payment was made via Paypal. At this point I was suspicious, but I was dumb, lonely and I wanted a puppy.

This was around the time they started saying they had a covid outbreak in their kennel. However, the owners were on the run and wanted for fraud, and shortly after, all of their dogs were seized by the humane society in a neglected condition.

I was lucky that I won a PayPal dispute on that second payment but I am out the first. During the PayPal dispute, they threatened to sue me, obviously, they had no leg to stand on there.

Since their dogs were seized, they disappeared, I thought they were gone for good. Now they are back on Facebook posting about their 2022 miniature basset hound litters.

I didn't want anyone else to fall for their scam considering their name change
