My mother passed away last year. I am her Executor, Trustee and Personal Representative. I am in the process of attempting to pay her bills.

I have gone through the above account and determined that the balance is $146.93 - $13.53, which is a total of $133.40. The balance is $146.93 and the $13.53 is the Cashback bonus owed her account. Synchrony Bank sent the account to AscensionPoint Recovery Services to collect the balance. I requested all the statements and determined that the balance owed is really $133.40 and not $146.93 as specified by AscensionPoint. I spoke with AscensionPoint and they said I would have to recover the $13.53 directly from Synchrony Bank. I spoke with Synchrony Bank and they said I would have to resolve with AscensionPoint. I then told Synchrony Bank that AscensionPoint already told me that Synchrony Bank will have to handle. Synchrony Bank refused to give me any direct contact information to allow me to clear this up.

Desired outcome: The desirable result is that Synchrony Bank return the $13.53 that they owe my mother's account. Additionally, Synchrony Bank needs to improve their customer service and morality.
