Sunshinezzz Catery - Lisa Dymond review: Kittens with genetic problems

Lisa Dymond is selling very unhealthy kittens with problems. I can't believe all the other complaints I have now found on this website. I purchased two kittens from her Dec 2020. One had a heart murmur and was diagnoised early on with cardiomyopathy. This poor kitten had extremely small nasal passages and couldn't breath without wheezing. We spent thousands on surgery to improve his breathing and then took him to a heart specialist to address the heart issues. I gave him the best life I could but he passed at only 17 months. I was told that she would replace the kitten when she had one from her spring litter. The second kitten developed corneal sequestrum and just underwent eye surgery for thousands of dollars. After being strung out a year and a half in waiting for a new kitten this breeder reached out to me to say that "she finally had a new kitten like what I was interested in and would I still like to purchase a new one?"

I was completely taken back by this of course! I reminded her that she had told me "she would replace the kitten that had passed away." She was completely condescending and accused me of torturing one of her cats by having surgery for it to breath better, suggested "that perhaps this breed wasn't for me because I appeared to have problems with the kittens." I provided her with documentation from all 5 veterinarians that treated the kitten she was to replace but of course none of this meant anything to her. I have owned a total of 7 persian cats and am very familiar with the breed. I have never had any issues like this before, only with kittens from this breeder. I am the daughter of a veterinarian who was in practice for 53 years and also taught veterinarian medicine at two universities. What this woman is doing to kittens (and people) is inhumane and must stop! Every time I talked to this woman she didn't appear to be able to remember who I was and she was vaping something the day we purchased the kittens.
