Store Space Self Storage review: Store Space storage

Went to unload a sectional worth over a thousand dollars at my storage unit in Walton Kentucky yesterday ( Friday ) October 2 , 2026. At approx 1:25 pm I arrived ahead of the truck with my couch to get in and get my unit open to make room for the couch. Upon arrival there was 1 small red car parked outside the office. Pulled to the gate box and began typing my gate code in the box. Nothing. Tried again, as it began to rain, i attempted again to open the gate. Got out and tried again. By this time the rain is picking up in intensity and i turned to go to the office and noticed the red car speeding out of the parking lot. I called the local office, no answer, called the 800 number, no answer, called the number they call from when your payment is late, no answer, re called every number again. Called the listed numbers for Newport, Cincinnati , and the customer service number listed on my lease. NONE OF THESE CALLS resulted in speaking to an actual human , so i left multiple voice mails and not one resulted in a call back. But i did get aggrivated EVERY SINGLE TIME I ATTEMPTED TO REACH SOMEONE TO GET HELP...i was aggrivated to pre pay my November bill. My sectional is ruined that i paid almost 1000 for , still cannot access the facility due to the broken gate code box, have yet to get a return call only a sales associate wanting to rent me a seperate unit for my couch.. that i wouldn't be able to [censored]ing access anyway.
This is just the latest ridiculous [censored]. In late July, earlier August 2026 , my unit flooded due to heavy rains. The roof leaked water down the walls, from the ceiling and the floor was 3 inches deep in water. When i was at my unit trying to clean out some of the mess and figure out what was a loss, i contacted the Boone County Sheriff's dept to file a police report . Upton arrival the sheriff's dept wanted to know what i was doing there, refuses to take a report and threatened to take me to jail for being in the facility after 10 pm. ( i waited nearly an hour on them to arrive ). Also, my unit had dozens of mice i found dead that urinated and deficated all over my stuff and ruined half of it.
Nobody seemed to care about that either.
