We recently changed our internet provider at home. We purchased the equipment necessary to have this service at the end of June 2022. My husband and I didn’t not communicate well on how we would pay our monthly bill. He paid for the equipment with a credit card and the first month payment, $110.00. I set up bill pay through our bank. Two months later, I see the August credit card statement, it has paid for internet service for the months of July and August, $110.00 each month. And, I see our bank statement has also paid for internet services, July and August, $110.00 each month. The company’s billing did not show a credit balance of $220.00. I have emailed them with my discrepancy, sent credit card statements for the month of July and August, and bank statements for July and August too. In an email today, they wrote back saying they didn’t have a way to receive mail, and I would have to send screen shots of all four statements. I did so, and I was emailed back with, “ you have only been charged once.” I am baffled by the denial of my credit card and bank statements.
