I called the custemer service number on the back of my bank debit card and hum ever answer the phone was fine until she sow that my account was overdrawn for $61.00 I tried to explains that I had $37.00 on my account and that I used $10.00 for gas and that the gas company for some reason charged $99.00 then I went about that I have a direct deposit coming on tonight if that will offset that transaction to avoid the $35.00 that they normaly charge she was no help at all and even tried to get very rude with me and suggesting that the conversation was being recorded she thought that will tread me by saying that I explained to her that i was a customer traying to get some answers she wen on and on and did not help me at all in fact she make me feel onwerthy I believe that not matter how much $ you have in the bank should be respected thios complaint goes to Sovereing bank big bosses please pay attention to your customer service department and especially those unprofessional employee who don't care about others feeling. my suggestions is that they need more training on how to speack to human it think that they have been train to deal with animals no nowing that the way you treat people it says who you are (are you all animals) on the other hand my experience with face to face interaction at sovereing bank has always been pleasant is just those animal who answers the phone .hey you you animals read this what goes around comes around.

I didn't know that, but thank you for explaining.

If it's a hold then they will charge the $35.00...I'm a little confused by the post, but you say you normally get charged a $35.00 fee so you must make the same mistake often?

You should talk to the gas station too and explain to them that you were overcharged. Do you have a receipt? If you show them you only put $10.00 in your tank they can refund you the $99.00 back in your account.
