She was very friendly when showing me a few condos around downtown. When I found one which I liked, she insisted on a cash deposit so that the property would be secured for me immediately. Then she started ignoring my calls. Three weeks later, I call her office and while she is refusing to take my calls, she has her boyfriend call me and tell me to stop calling because they spent my deposit on THEIR rent and will pay me back when they can. WTF!

From Sophia - This story is a fake post from a person who is obviously very sad about their own life. I have never and would never do such a thing as I am regulated by laws and do my work with utmost respect and have codes of ethics I follow. Ironically, this post happens to be on the same day that this malicious person posts me on an adult website, directing unwanted calls to my line. Clearly this person has deep personal issues with too much time on his hands so he tries to bash my business and name hoping that it will stop me from being successful. Stealing someone's deposit is not something any professional Property Manager or Realtor can get away with nor would it be something I would or need to do. THERE HAS NEVER BEEN SUCH A SITUATION AND NEVER WILL BE. Hopefully this internet troll will get a life and channel his energy into improving his own sad life. I suggest you get well soon or keep it up and find yourself in court for defamation of character.
I was going to rent a condo using this person, but the numerous negative reviews online made me think twice. There are plenty of other agents in Vancouver. There is no way for her to prove to me that these are all bogus, she just keeps saying that it's illegal for her to do this which makes it impossible. Last I checked, something being against the law does not stop criminals from doing it anyway. When I contacted her office, I was told that they would not discuss such matters with me and the receptionist admitted that they do not know for sure if these complaints are real or not and to conduct my own due diligence.
Whoever reads this, please disregard the poster's nasty comment. I know Sophia personally, and she would never steal anyone's rental deposit. Sophia is a great agent, who is diligent when it comes time for work. She always answers phone calls on time, and makes sure that the tenants are satisfied with how they are being treated. I would recommend her as an agent to work with whether you're looking to rent or have your place rented. This defamatory comment is ridiculous, so take your fake complaints elsewhere.
