Sonic Drive-InManager

C Aug 18, 2019 Review updated:

The male manager at this location is extremely disrespectful to his employees. My child came home very upset because he called them worthless and continued to use profanity to insult them, which is no way for an adult to speak to a minor and it is certainly unacceptable for a manager to speak this way to their employees. This is not the first time that this has happened, but I hope that it will be the last. I can assume that sonic does not want a man like him representing their company.

Your child was acting in a way that they thought was worthless. While I don’t think that language is appropriate, your child needs to learn about the real world. This happens and your child has to do better or change jobs.

You say it’s no way for an adult to speak to a minor. It’s no way to speak to an adult also. Your minor child needs to learn to speak up for themselves. Mommy can’t interfere with your child’s job.

@SubSquirrel Perhaps the minor should not be allowed out alone.

How old is this child and why was he not with a responsible adult? He probably wasn't called worthless without just cause. This is why children need to be in the presence of a responsible person at all times. That way there's no question as to what the truth really is.

And, if you did your job as a responsible parent he would not misbehave in public.

He is an employee??? What is this, the early 1900's where we had more children earning paychecks than adults???

Oh, he's a teenager????? 🙄. So most people called worthless by employers are called that due to not working. Actually not being worth their paycheck in regards to what his work shows.

Sounds like your son is not a diligent worker.
