Extremely poor after the sales service. Do not buy from Somerville Aluminum. After siding our entire house and detached garage we immediately started getting water in our kitchen. Somerville Aluminum (SA) was contacted, acknowledged the problem and attempted to repair by caulking seams etc. The water persisted at each heavy rain and SA returned again and tried something else (re-caulking I believe). The winter snow came and the water came in again. They returned and said the chimney cap was leaking. After consulting with chimney experts, it was concluded the chimney was not the problem. We took a hose and ran water into the j-channel of the siding and the water came in. Now our kitchen ceiling is cracked, peeling and molding from the continued leaking. SA returned, took off the siding and determined the roof had not been done correctly 12+ years ago (even though we pointed out we had no water until they put up the new siding). They claimed they fixed the roof that was supposedly done incorrectly for us. Next day the water came in again. We pointed out to the owner that we had water over 12 years ago in a different area and it was repaired professionally and we have had no water until they took off the old wood siding and put up the vinyl. The owner now says (after accepting the issue for 9 months) that his company did not cause the problem as the roof was installed incorrectly and it is not his responsibility. He has our $30, 000 and we have a kitchen ceiling and a water fountain from the cabinets. Somerville Aluminum charged more than anyone else and swore their impeccable service is what we were paying for. Do not buy from them - they are crooks and David Gropper should be ashamed of himself.

Somerville Aluminum is a rip off. They over charge the customer and are very rude. Gary Shimon is the rudest person .
