The company Solockpool.us attempted to sell us a golf cart via text and website-based chat on October 23rd. We requested a phone call several times and even left messages. These people would only communicate text and website-based chat. They did answer our questions and claimed to understand our concerns regarding their required method of payment; Venmo, Zelle, and a couple of other options. My husband and I discussed and decided it would be ok to move forward with the golf cart purchase (a really good sale price and deal). Again we had to communicate via text regarding the payment. It took 4 days to Zelle $3,038.00 to Calel Burns. Three payments were sent to Calel Burns in the amount of 900.00 on October 23rd, 900.00 on October 24th, 339.00 on October 25th for the golf cart total $2,139.00. After this we asked several times when the cart would be delivered to Steven & Michele Vinson at 5215 Dingle Pond Rd, Summerton, SC 29148 and it took them a few days to reply. The reply stated they need $899.00 because South Carolina requires a delivery insurance fee. We agreed and paid the amount on October 29th to Isaiah Wrencher-Smith, because Calel Burns had reached his bank limit and could not receive the $899.00 payment. A copy of the payments has been attached. I can provide the emails and texts for you, please let me know if you would like copies. On Saturday November 5th after calling and leaving messages (both Steve and me called and left messages) for a return call to resolve the delivery date, I finally got a person (Calel Burns) on the phone and I even had to ask for a phone number, which is [protected]. The first phone number we tired calling (from the website was unavailable or not a good number). This gentleman was rude to me and said I would have to pay another $1,500.00 for the South Carolina delivery insurance. After several minutes of going back and forth, I asked for a refund and Calel Burns said he would have to get the undelivered golf cart back, inspect it then the refund would need to be approved and I might possibly get my money (2,139.00) back in December. The state of South Carolina would refund my 899.00 but he didn't know when or how. I told Calel Burns we paid as requested and he needs to follow good business practices and refund our money. He hung up on me, ignored every phone call made back to him, disconnected my chat after I left an unfavorable review and I refused to delete it when Calel Burns asked me to. Has not responded to my email or texts. I told him I was giving him till 2 PM EST today to respond and if I haven't heard then I am filing this complaint with the BBB and the FTC. I now believe this company is a scam and the people are too!

Desired outcome: I would like $3,038.00 to be refunded please. Thank you!
