This moving company is the worst! They have no manners and don't know how to talk to customers. They called me names and threatened to ruin my reputation. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They lied to me and my mom. They don't deserve any stars. The owner is a real piece of work.

Hird this compny and their associte compny smart movers for my mothers move from Brampton Ontario to Bridgewater Nova Scotia this January . Very happy with the service. Polite and knowledgable staff made for a stress free moving experience. I highly recommend Jeff (the sales person) and there great staff.

Long-distance move from Onterio to Nova Scotia. Amazin service from Smart Movers Atlantic. I got a big farm, barn, garage and 2 bedroom house. Josh, Victor and Jacob came on time, and gave me a heads up when we reached the estimate of cost. I said, carry on. They even got the porta potty up on the truck and the riding lawn mower. The workers were amazin in Onterio. Movin to NS required a storage service, and on the requested move into the new home, the three men that came were as good as the first three. This time Josh, Jacob and Chris came and got everything off loaded. They even offered to take things to the new container, if it had arrived on time. I was so impressed because you often hear of a lot of negative reviews, and I was nervous. I am thrilled with Jeff and his team and even bragged to my real estate agent as to how good they were. I would certainly recommend them over any others that I had contacted for this move.

I used Smart Movers Atlantic to move some stuff from my parents' crib in P.E.I to my place in Ontario. The dude seemed cool at first, but he was busy and hard to reach. Things went downhill from there. They quoted me $2,000, but they added $500 when they picked up the furniture, even though I gave them a detailed list. They said they'd deliver between October and November, but they arrived at the end of November, and half of my furniture was busted! Two dining chair arms were snapped off, 3/4 of a side table's legs were gone, and my dining table had scratches and missing chunks of wood. They said they were insured up to $25,000, but when I tried to claim, they said it was my furniture's fault. My stuff was fine when they picked it up, and broken when it arrived. Don't use these guys if you want your stuff in one piece!

Smart Movers were amazin'. Communication between the company and myself was excellant. Phone was always answered promptly and Jeff took the time to answer all my questions and there were quite a few. This was my first long distance move and it could not have gone any smoother. From the office to the team members; they bent over backwards to make my move as gentle as possible. The 3 team members were respectful and made every effort to assist me. They all worked hard and were truly dedicated to the job. During the move the team members had to work around my 5 cats and not once was there a problem, they respected me, my concerns and they respected my cats. I would highly recommend this company for your next move. In addition, the move from Brampton, Ontario to Bathurst, NB resulted in "On Time Delivery" and not one item broken - not one piece of furniture scratched. This company and their team delivered on their promises and fulfilled all my expectations. Please disregard the bad reviews, I am sure there is more than meets the eye, as Smart Movers deliver. We had a move with Smart Movers Atlantic from London, ON to Washabuck Centre, NS on May 13th. They quoted us $5814 and we paid a 10% deposit of $668.61 on June 22. However, our delivery date was delayed from July 7/8 to 10/11 and pick up was delayed to June 30. It was hard to get in touch with them and communication was not great. On July 8, we were invoiced for $22,478.82, which was 4 times the estimate with no proof. They said we used 3115.82 cu ft at $6.46 / cu ft and we wouldn't get a confirmed delivery date until July 12. We told them we thought the invoice was wrong and our stuff would not be more than 2025 cu ft, which would cost $14,782.10 max. On July 12, they refused to show proof of volume before payment and threatened to withhold our items until we paid. We reminded them that they had all our work equipment and we needed it to resume work on July 14th. Also, my partner has JRA and cannot get off the floor without my help.
