Plane has crashed twice, got vandalized and then didn't fly for 12 years. The jump master didn't jump for over 10 years. They haul the divers from the drop zone to the airport on a flat bed trailer. A real first class operation indeed!
I say again...
Plane has crashed twice, got vandalized and then didn't fly for over 10 years. The jump master didn't jump for over 10 years. They haul the divers from the drop zone to the airport on a flat bed trailer. A real first class operation indeed.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
This complaint is in regards to the former dropzone owner and has nothing to do with the current dropzone or its management.
This complaint is from someone who does not know what they are talking about. The drop zone has had more than one owner. The first one died in an accident that was never properly investigated and he was the scapegoat of those who had an interest in not taking any blame. The plane crash happened during the ownership of the company that is now Skydive Santa Barbara out of Lompoc and Pismo Beach. The current owner has spent many years in the business and has the credentials to prove it. People need to check the operation out for themselves as off-airport drop zones are not unusual and the local politics and personality conflicts have caused this situation to exist. The most untrue complaints are usually by someone who has a personal interest in hurting the person or business they complain about and should not be taken at face value. Do your homework.
