Silver Truffle Labradors review: Bad business 4

On July 6, 2011, I purchased a female charcoal lab from this kennel or house. She was seven weeks old at the time of the purchase. During the first three weeks of her being with me, she spent almost all of those weeks in the animal hospital, so sick she almost died. She had worms so bad she was coughing them up. From her being so ill at a young age, her immune system is compromised as well as other genetic factors. She also has multiple skin issues. When I purchased her she had no hair on her ears. Being the lab lover that I am and having to put my chocolate lab down that same day, I was told she was the only one available so of course I bought her, i would not leave the baby behind. She has been diagnosed with demodex mites/mange and has had thousands of dollars in veterinarian treatment including being dipped for the demodex over six times, she must take flea medicine year round and other medications as well. She currently has a bald spot on her side that has been there for two months. She is currently on two medications and has been for at least six months with no results. I was unaware of what demodex even was until my vet showed me under a microscope after scraping her skin on several occasions. She goes from bad to good with her skin and fur. She hardly has fur on her ears and at times they have no fur at all, she also has no fur on the backs of her legs and never has. As the information says below, a dog with a good immune system can fit them off because all dogs have it. However, since her immune system is so compromised she cannot and will never be able to. Her immunity was damaged when she was so sick as a puppy.
"Once eliminated, most dogs do not acquire another infestation; the dog’s immune defenses are primed to eliminate any new demodex mites. However, there are certain dogs that, because of genetic programming, do not produce the specific immune factors that will target the mites for destruction. That specific lack of adequate immune defense against the mites is a hereditary aspect of the disease that can predispose an infested dog to a severe, unresponsive case of demodex."
She is going to be three in May and is still having all the same skin issues she has had her whole life and that she will always have. I contacted you on several occasions when I first got her because we could not figure out why she was so ill. You returned my call once and told me that she did not get the worms there. However, she did because as everyone knows, all pups have worms, they get them from their mother. That is why they must be vaccinated for them.
I am only writing to make you aware that she has several skin issues and they are genetic plus her immune system was destroyed because of her health as a puppy.
I will say she is an angel and I would not trade her for the world however, I have spent so much money trying the help her it makes me very angry that I paid a lot of money for a pure breed dogs that has so many health issues. She came with a health care guarantee that is was worthless. I am not sure if any other dogs from her litter have been effected with anything or if she was just the unlucky one! I am so grateful that I was the one to purchase her because I know that she is getting the best care possible to have a good life. Others may not have wanted to spend thousands of dollars trying to help a dog that was supposed to be in good health.

7/6/2016 I will say one thing about my lab, she is great and has been through so much. She is the sweetest dog and I am so blessed that I was able to save her and give her a home that she could be properly taken care of. I would never buy or recommend this kennel to my worst enemy. The people were rude when called with issues and of no help and or coarse nothing was there fault. I would not buy a cup of lemonade from this women. This place should be shut down for animal cruelty the way the animals look!

DO NOT BUY A PUPPY FROM SILVER TRUFFLES! I have a lab I got from them and it has a bad hip and they will not return ANY of my calls, txt or emails! supposedly have a 2yr guarantee but cant talk to any one so I guess a lawyer is in order!
