Shoppers Drug Mart

Greetings:

Over the last 30 years we have had occasions to use the various pharmacies at Shoppers Drugs Stores with unpleasant experiences.

My husband is eighty-one years of age and has had four operations in the past two years.  It requires that he takes eight different prescribed pills daily.

We are not impressed with the service we get from your pharmacies. We have tried to use the Shoppers pharmacy at #100, 6 Homer Street, Vancouver BC which is less than a block from our residence and every prescription was a hassle. Do I have my husband’s permission. Have you a written letter signed by him for copies of receipts, etc.

Because I shop a couple of times a week at the 1125 Davie St, Vancouver BC Shoppers store for groceries and cosmetics we thought we would try them for a new prescription. Shoppers advertise Shoppers Drug Mart Delivery in as little as 2 Hours.  It took over two and a half hours to get the prescription filled from the time the doctor phoned the pharmacy until I could pick it up.  Even though I presented my BC Card, my husband’s BC card and my Blue Cross card I was asked five times who I was and did I have my husband’s permission to pick up the prescription.  The experience was a frustrating and embarrassing interrogation as if I was asking for illegal drugs. They were rude and lacked any kind of Customer Service skills.

They have got my first and last prescription and if asked I would never recommend Shoppers Pharmacies for prescriptions to anyone.

Hi,
tonight 24 Dec 2018 between 23:00 and 23:30, Kyle the pharmacy assistant at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Davie Street 1125 in Vancouver, BC V6E 1N2 store # 0272 screamed at me, smacked the counter violently with my prescription paper and the ran out front behind the counter to come stand right next to me to shout in my face, all this in the presence of other staff and hopefully was clught on camera . I would like to file a complaint for being verbally assaulted and physically bullied by Kyle.
