Commitment from the Business: ShinePay committed to providing a functional ShinePay device with a lifetime warranty. The device was to be installed by a certified electrician and was expected to integrate seamlessly with our hotel's laundry facilities, allowing for efficient and convenient payment processing.

Nature of the Dispute: The nature of the dispute revolves around the defective ShinePay device received from the company. Upon installation by a certified electrician on February 9, 2024, it became immediately apparent that the device was non-functional. Despite following all installation procedures meticulously, not a single dry cycle could be run, and our staff were unable to set up or make the device operational.

Contact with Shine Pay: ShinePay was contacted during the installation process when it became evident that the device was not working as expected. Despite multiple attempts to troubleshoot the issue with ShinePay's customer support, no satisfactory resolution was provided. ShinePay attempted to deflect blame onto us, claiming that the device malfunction was due to a failed Over-the-Air update performed during installation. However, it is evident that the device arrived defective and was never operational from the outset.

Resolution Attempts: Despite our repeated requests for a replacement device or a full refund, ShinePay has refused to take responsibility for the defective product and has insisted on enforcing its warranty policy, which excludes coverage for labor or shipping costs associated with replacement. ShinePay's proposed solution does not address the significant inconvenience and financial loss incurred as a result of their faulty product.

Conclusion: ShinePay's failure to provide a functional product and their subsequent refusal to acknowledge accountability or offer a satisfactory resolution constitute a breach of trust and a violation of consumer rights. We demand immediate action from ShinePay to rectify this situation and provide adequate compensation for the damages incurred.
