We purchased a Shih Tzu puppy from Shih Tzus by Burnwood. We picked up our puppy on February 14, 2004. Barbara told us that she would send the CKC papers to us in the mail. When we didn't receive the papers, we e-mailed and called the breeder many times. We never received a reply. In 2008, our Shih Tzu was diagnosed with two burst disks. The surgery cost us $3, 500. Our vet diagnosed the problem as genetic. I again contacted Shih Tzus by Burnwood to notify them of this problem. I have always been professional in my dealings with them. Yet, they have never responded to me. I did not register this complaint earlier because I didn't know who to contact.
