Shandong Dongte Metal Materials Co., Ltd. review: Delivery of mild steel plate for the production of expanded metal

Complaint Against Shandong Dongte Metal Materials Co., Ltd.

We placed an order with Shandong Dongte Metal Materials Co., Ltd. for various specifications of Mild Steel Plates that we are using in the production of Expanded Metal. After confirming our order, the company issued a Proforma Invoice reflecting the agreed purchase price and terms.

We complied with all of our payment obligations in accordance with the agreement and completed payment in full. After payment was made, we repeatedly followed up on the delivery of the goods. Instead of arranging shipment, Shandong Dongte Metal Materials Co., Ltd. informed us that they had quoted the wrong price and demanded an additional payment before they would release our order.

We did not accept this demand because the purchase price had already been agreed upon by both parties, and we had fully performed our obligations under the contract. The supplier's attempt to increase the price after receiving full payment is a clear breach of our agreement.

Despite our repeated requests, Shandong Dongte Metal Materials Co., Ltd. has neither delivered the ordered goods nor refunded the payment we made. To date, the company continues to retain our payment without fulfilling its contractual obligations.

We respectfully request that Shandong Dongte Metal Materials Co., Ltd. immediately honor its contractual obligations by either delivering the goods as originally agreed or issuing a full refund without further delay. We also hope that appropriate action will be taken to help prevent similar unfair business practices from affecting other customers.
