I bought a fake sauna from Quality Warehouse Sauna on the internet. They are also known as SeaMax. I wanted to return it the day I unpacked it, because it was a fake. It would not assemble correctly and it would not heat up. The sauna was not Fiber Carbon Panels and it did not have 5 heaters in it, but only one.

I called SeaMax’s customer service and no one answered the phone and it would take days before they returned my calls. I hired an Electrician to check it out and he said that there was a 12 volt transformer in the heating unit just like the one his son uses for his Gameboy. He said that there is no way this sauna could heat over 100 degrees using a regular 110 outlet.

Customer Service would not give me the return address and it is not on the website. The owner Gary Chen told me not to ship to the address he gave me, because it was his office. The Pack & Ship Company I hired to return it could not get a response from SeaMax and it had to be moved back to my property.

After doing research I found out that SeaMax has 5 complaints with the Better Business Bureau in Western Washington State. I complained to my credit card company and they returned my money while they did their investigation, but they want to take away my credit, because I cannot provide them with a return tracking number. I have tried to explain over and over again that I do not have a return address and SeaMax will not give me on. The owner Gary Chen, said that he did not want it back, because he could not resell it. Of course, he wants to keep the money instead.

To further make matters worse I Googled the fake address he gave me and it was a huge shipping port in Washington State. I believe that I bought this sauna from overseas when the website claimed it was made in the USA.

Do not buy any products from Quality Sauna Warehouse, AKA Seamax. This was the biggest mistake of my life. Buyer beware!

Just an update that I never got this resolved. My Credit card company could not get the address to return the sauna and told me I needed to find another means for this dispute. I contacted the Michigan Attorney Generals office and they also tried to help me, but they could not help me, because Mr. Chen president at Quality Sauna Warehouse was not willing to work with me to fix it or let me return it. BUYER BEWARE OF NO RETURN ADDRESS ON WEBSITE.

This matter has never been resolved. I contacted the Michigan Attorney Generals office and they were not able to help me, because Mr. Chen would not fit it nor would he except a return and give me the return address. MarcyM
