Rooms To Go - Cindy Crawford leather sectional turquoise

I purchased this expensive Cindy Crawford turquoise leather sectional in September 2015 thinking that I was getting good quality furniture to last me for years. I started noticing a couple of years ago that it was peeling between cushions on bottom and top… I couldn't believe and still very upset. I vacuum daily to get the faux leather (pleather) that keeps falling on my carpet. I am so upset That I paid all this money for a sofa that cannot last 5 years or more. I thought the whole sofa was leather, and this is an embarrassment having ruin furniture that is shedding daily when you sit from the friction.

Desired outcome: A refund or better product replacement

Rooms To Go - 6 piece dining room set

I bought a 6 piece Dining room set on May 28 it was delivered on July 31 when they took the bench off the truck I noticed right away that it was scratched up. They said I still had to take it and someone would get in touch with me. Then when he put the table together we noticed the corner had a chunk out of it. He said he would report it and someone would call me in a few minutes after he sent it in. No one called, so I called customer service and they said it was discontinued and I would have to go to the store and pick something else out of equal value. I went to the store and I had to look around my self because no one would come back and help me even though they kept calling them on the intercom, I had to wait about 45 minutes for someone to talk to me. I found only one set similar to what I liked and they said it was more and they were going to charge me delivery fee again when I was already charged it for the damaged one and they would not leave it on the truck. I asked if they could write off the difference which was about $100.00 and they said no. I was also told if I send it back I have to pay 20% restocking fee which doesn't make sense since it was damaged from the factory. And if I kept it they would only give me 10% off, I asked if they would take off the same amount they offered me the one in the store which was damaged also the week before at $549.99. They said no. And lastly I never signed anything for the delivery and when they sent me the receipt from it someone signed my name. Which I know is illegal.

Desired outcome: I would either like to keep the set for $549.99. Or get the other set I picked out for the same price as the first.

Rooms To Go - night stand-cherry34214560; new storage trundle-cherry-[protected]

I purchased items on 9/8/2019 and was told it would be delivered on 12/6/2019-very slow delivery. Items were delivered today including a drawer chest, night stand, full panel HDBD, full panel FTBD/slats and rails, and Bunkie board. The complaint I have is that the night stand was damage and we were told upon delivery that the trundle was on back order. Its been 3 months since we purchased these items and now to wait another month to receive the trundle and night stand is ridiculous. I'm very unhappy with Rooms to go .This is unacceptable! I will never purchase anything from this place again. I called the corporate office today and was told they could have the night stand delivered on 12/13/2019 but the Bunkie board is on back order and nothing can be done about that. I'm really upset about this because I was expecting this item to be delivered by my daughter's 16th bday which is 12/11/2019. I have dealt with other furniture companies and never have a slow delivery nor have I never had items that was delivery to me damage and certainly would have had someone contact me regarding an item on back order. Damn! Rooms to go should have offered me something in return to satisfy me as a customer. You live and learn.. I would certainly not recommend rooms to go because of what has happened to me.

By the way this is one of my order # [protected]. The night stand under this order n the trundle under a different one but you should be able to search it with the order # I provided.

Nothing to look into. Trundle want arrive until 1/3/2020. Hard to believe it took 3-4 months to receive a bedroom set. I should have read the negative complaints of rooms to go before I made a purchase. I don’t even live in the area of a rooms to go so I had to travel almost 50 miles n to receive this type of service is the worst I’ve experienced. Oh yeah, I had my 2nd night stand delivered last week n it was damaged. 🤬🤬. I’m now having to wait until 12/27 to receive another one. This is bad business. It’s awful that no one in management called to apologize. These people just want to make a sale then dump you like bad habit.

Rooms To Go - inability to process warranty reversal

On 5 March 2015, my spouse and I purchased 2 nice motorized recliners from RTG. They were delivered unscathed and we enjoyed them. For several months we were called several times a week to see if we wanted the warranty for the chairs. Having worked in the furniture retail for about 6 years, I understood the responsibilities in caring for the furniture under warranty rule. I also knew we had no animals, children or grandchildren so those stains were not a problem. I opted out at first but after numerous calls my spouse broke down and got the extended warranty on 24 July 2015. Nothing was applied to it, no one came out and sprayed or checked to insure it was still good. On 4 Oct 2015, out house was flooded, we live in Hopkins, South Carolina, when the excessive rains hit and a dam broke up hill from our home. We lost a lot of furniture that was cloth, leather or pressed wood due to the Category 3 waters (sewer). I understand that it is not RTG's fault. We actually called RTG to see if we could purchase the same 2 recliners again, and transfer the warranty that was already being paid for by us to those chairs. We were told. "We no longer carry that item." Pray tell how do you replace an item that's defective under warranty if you no longer carry it. Synchrony also would not credit us the unused portion of the warranty. Personally I have no desire to go to or spend my money at either Rooms to Go or Synchrony, and I do plan on letting my feelings known on social media.

As I stated we lost a lot in the flood to include paperwork. I do however, have a reference number that you can use from our last bill to find out information if you are with the RTG company. November reference P9073009W01DWE3DA for my payment and history. I will not give my account number over an unsecured system. The tan motorized recliners were ordered on March 5, 2015 at the Sand Hills RTG store in Columbia, SC. My spouse purchased the warranty on July 24th, via the telephone with a service representative. I seriously wonder how they would be able to replace a defective chair by the warranty if they no longer have them in stock. Thank you for your reply.

After having a couch and love seat for less than a year the material split and the stuffing has since then been coming out. We called and asked for them to warranty the product they said it was normal wear and tear now three years later the recliners can not be opened because then they will not close. I think the furniture was poorly manufactured. RTG is the worst I do not understand how anyone can advertise furniture as quality when it isn't. I am Upset with this company and feel I was taken.
