On September 11 I was surfing the internet for free ringtones for my phone. I went to ringtones.com to see what they could offer. After I sent my cell number I received a Text that said they would charge my cell account $19.99 for subscription. I promptly called them back to tell the that I hadn't wanted to subscribe and that I just wanted to see what they had to offer. They said that they could do nothing for me and that the charge would still appear on my phone bill but that they would be happy to cancel my account. DO NOT use this company as they are only out for your money. They did nothing to help me and I will certainly tell everybody I know that I felt that I was scammed.

I just received a text message saying that I subscribed to a $19.99/ month "value club combo" and it charged $19.99 to my at&t go phone. I didn't subscribe to anything and I would like you to please credit the $20 back to my phone. My # is 530.306.7754. Thank you for your time!

I keep receiving texted jokes from ringtones.com. I don't want them, never did, and I can't get them to stop sending them. I am not going to pay $23.96/mo. for something I don't want.

This company advertised free ringtones for the cell phone. When i tried to download a ring tone then they started billing me $9.99 per month for a subscription that I did not order.

I was supposed to receive one free ringtone for my cell phone. It was never received; but I was told I would have to pay A$9.99 each month. I did not sign up for this and I will never pay for services I did not order! There seems to be no where I can cancel or notify Ringtonetimes on there web site. When I called their telephone number it was garbled with other languages at the same time.

This was an advertisement to get a free ringtone, which I never got any and they charged $9.99 to my cell phone bill. The next month I got a text message saying my service was automatically renewed for $9.99.

I checked out a site for a free ringtone and received a text message with a pin# and was informed that I would be charged for 19.99/monthly. I thought I could check out a free service, what a scam. How do I stop this service? I tried to e-mail ringtonetime.com and no response.

I received a text message saying that I had subscribed to ringtonetimes.com and it gave me a pin number. I have never signed up for any ringtones with this site. I also have reason to believe that they have charged my cell phone 20 dollars in charges. I sent them back a text telling them to take me off of their list and I received a text back telling me to submit any complaints to care@ringtonetimes.com

I am very angry about this and hope i can find a way to stop this cr*p.

I have not subscribed to Ringtones, and yet they are charging me $9.99 per month. When you try and text them back, they say they don't recognize the message.

How do you get rid of them... Plz advise smb!

text them 699-99 and type in stop. They try every month and you have to text them every month. They send pictures that offend me and try to trick people into signing up. Have you contacted your cell phone carrier to blck them from accessing your phone?

I also was looking for free ringtones, tried to get one but the "free" ringtone never made it to my phone. They did text me a pin # and suddenly a $19.95 charge appeared on my bill. I contacted RingtoneTimes.com and was told my acct would be cancelled-the chrg has been on my bill two months now.

This company should be sued because they are posting msgs about free services and suddently you discovered that they are charging you money for no services...It's not enough to complain here..I think there is higher authority in this country..It's not a question of 10 or 20 $...it's a question of honesty! I will follow up on this issue

It's a scam! It's amazing how this company has not yet been sued!
Well, I called my cell phone company to see what to do. They are familiar with the situation and the gave me a number to stop the texting:
44755
you text stop to that number and you should receive a confirmation text
Still waiting for the confirmation text, I hope it works.
Either way, I got my company to credit that amount. It happens so often I didn't have to ask for it twice!
Good luck!
