Sex Offender Cleans My Carpet and Try’s To Sell Me a Kirby Vacuum Cleaner:
I received a call the other day from Rhino Kirby West in Phoenix Arizona they promised they were a new company trying to get the word out about their carpet cleaning services. They asked if they could set an appointment to clean two rooms for free. I figured I’d sit through a demo for about an hour and get my carpet cleaned for free, so I agreed.
Michael Thomas showed up to the door with a gray case... he was poorly groomed but well spoken introduced himself and said he was here to clean the carpets. After the fast talking demo we sensed a high pressure sales pitch coming so we started to show disinterest. He was in my house for almost 2 hours wasting my time, he even called his Imaginary Manager on the phone which he reduced the price from $2199 to $1499 then to selling us the demo for even better and better terms.
After an unrelenting sales pitch Mike walked up to me and I told them I'd have to pass. By the way he looked at me, I could tell he was upset, but who wouldn’t be it’s 110 degrees out here in Phoenix and he is lugging this equipment door to door. As he walked out he gave me this very evil look, I’ll never forget it. The way he looked at me seemed very threatening. He seemed like a very angry and disturbed man. I got on Google the minute he left and you’ll never guess what I found on Arizona Department of Public Safety website he was a level 2 child molester recently released from prison. This is the information Rhino Kirby West neglects to tell you when you set up an appointment. SHAME ON YOU!

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
So it seems its my job to make sure your company does not send a sex offender to my home. You [censor] have been calling me in Texas through some bogus phone number. Call me one more MFN time at midnight and see how long you can sell those POS vacs when they are lying broken in your parking lot. AZ is not far from TX and it would be worth the drive. [censor]S! Who wants a Kirby anyway, save up a couple weeks worth and go buy a dyson, or better yet pull your nasty carpet up and have tile or wood its better for you anyway. [censor] Kirby and all the Petophiles who work there!
I recently started working for the company and know first hand how the advertising works. I apologize for many of their attitudes with customers. Know that this is our job to be calling you and giving you our services for free but if you ask nicely to be put on a no call list they will do so. Just ask to talk to the manager and get your number off the call list definitely cuz they dont have control of the numbers to be called at. Another thing is the company does not descriminate against hiring you simply for mistakes you've done in the past just like in any other company. Before you talk bad about the company anymore simply ask again next time to have someone with a background check etc to have good record and tell them of your previous bad experience. Simple as that.
Reconfirming - they're still at it in 2010! These people are sickening and should be put out of business. When I answered the phone the first time, a recording immediately said "you have been called in error" and hung up. Can you imagine. This IMMEDIATELY leads me to think that they're using some kind of voice recognition to profile the answerer. I don't think this is poaranoid and the technology IS available -- what other POSSIBLE explaination could there be!?!? If they get a child or an elderly person - or even a female that didn;t answer with as much confidence/assertiveness, they could press ahead. Given the fact that I read online that they have been employing registered sex offenders and sending them to peoplel's homes to do demos. I don;t think this is out of the question! I finally found a local address & phone # and actually got this Kim person I've read about elsewhere online (the "fast-talker") I politely told her that I was registering my # with the federal do not call list as we spoke and not to use it again - now 2 days later: another call/hang up from RK West! I got her again (or someone who claime dot be Kim) at the local # (RK West (Rhino Kerbie West) 3612 W Dunlap Ave Phoenix, AZ [protected] 4323 W Cactus #7. Glendale Arizona 85304 U.S.A..) and she was SOoooo apologetic. Next time I won;t give them the courtesy of a call I'll take the time to write the attorney general and file a report w/the BBB, etc (they already have an F rating!) because they really should not be allowe dto keep this up - by law! I know Kirbys are good vacuums but there tactics are out of control and whoever went on one of these discussion boards defending them was most likely a staff memeber of that office and not an actual consumer. BEWARE! If you're considering a purchase make sure you perform your research and due diligence - this is a SNAKE PIT!
