WeFly
My family and I booked our flights and hotel to New York with WeFly. Turns out that the hotel we booked, expecting it to be a 3-4 star hotel (according to WeFly), on Tripadvisor wasn't even 1 star. It was horrific! We contacted WeFly and they immediately promised that we could either upgrade to a better hotel and pay the difference or get a full refund for the hotel. Sounds great right? They then proceeded, three months after they made the promise, to say that we were wrong and we would not be getting a refund and if we wanted to upgrade we would have to pay the full amount of a new hotel minus £50. Even though we had all of this in writing. They lied to us!
Disgusting customer service. Do not use WeFly, they will lie to you about their products.
We are still fighting for our money back, and even though this is not until October, it feels like the trip of a lifetime is already ruined!
Booking agents have been rude.
Last year I booked a flight with wefly.co.uk. The website will quote you a few prices, and then you have to call their booking agents to actually book the ticket. I originally was sold a direct flight. Suddenly, a few days later I was contacted by them that the direct flights were all booked. I complained, and was issued a gift certificate for $200 and past few days I have been trying to book a flight with them and booking agents have been rude.
