Volunteer Latin America reviews and complaints

I could find very little information on-line regarding one of the projects I was interested in volunteering with. I could find no independent posts, for example by other volunteers. The projects website and other social media sites did not allow posts by anyone other than themselves. The one piece of information I could find regarding the projects founder was negative and spoke of fraud. I raised the lack of independent online presence and the accusations of the founder with VLA and asked what research they'd done. They provided me with the link to the projects facebook page (which I already had and which had only content from the project and a presence of only a few months). They also asked me for a copy of the report I'd found on the projects founder; they did not find this in their "research". Once I provided this report, they then accused me of not providing them with the full report. I could not recomend the services of VLA and I would recomend any volunteer to conduct their own research into the projects they offer as I do not believe that VLA conduct research of any value, if at all.
