USELESS SERVICE
MY WIFE AND I RECENTLY WENT TO CYPRUS AND BOOKED OUR HOLIDAY WITH THOMAS COOK AND ALTHOUGH THE HOLIDAY WAS GREAT THE AIRLINE SERVICE WAS THE WORST OF ALL, WE TRAVEL A LOT TO OTHER COUNTRIES AND THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME WITH THOMAS COOK, AND THE LAST! LETY ME TELL YOU WHY!
WHEN WE GOT TO GATWICK TO FLY WE CHECKED IN IN GOOD TIME AND AKED FOR A WINDOW SEAT BUT WAS TOLD ALL SEATS GONE? WE WERE THERE TWO AND HALF BEFORE CHECK IN CLOSE, AND WAS TOLD WE SHOULD HAVE PREBOOKED SEATS IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE SEATS, WAS THEN TOLD THEY WOULD TRY TO SIT US TOGETHER ON ISLE? WHAT A FARCE AND WHY WERE WE NOT TOLD THIS WHEN BOOKING? ON TOP OF THAT THEY WANT £30 TO BOOK SEATS! SECONDLY HAVING TO PAY FOR MEALS WHICH ARE A JOKE, NOW THE BIT WHEN WE GET ON PLANE, FIRST DELAY! 45 MINS CLEANERS NOT SHOW UP! THEN WE GET ON PLANE, ANOTHER DELAY FIRST OFFICER PHONES IN SICK AND ANOTHER PILOT REQUIRED 30 MIN DELAY THEN FIND OUT LOSE SLOT SO ANOTHER DELAY FOR TAKE OFF, NOW FORGOT TO MENTION WHEN WE SAT DOWN THE SEATS? KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE A SARDINE! NOW THE NEXT GRIPE CABIN CREW ANNOUNCE FILM TO BE SHOWN £3 TO BUY EARPHONES TO LISTEN! THEN BUY A CUP OF TEA? £2 FOR A 20P CUP OF TEA?
NOW THE TRIP BACK, CHECK IN TO PAHOS AIRPORT TOLD SUITCASE TO HEAVY BY 2KG 24 EURO CHARGE, BUT ASKED TAKE STUFF OUT OF SUITCASE CARRY ON AS HAND LUGGAGE? WHAT THE HELL IS THE DIFFERENCE? THE WEIGHT IS STILL THERE ISNT IT? AND TO TOP THAT IF I WANTED DUTY FREE I COULD TAKE 10LTR OF LIQUIDS AND 3200 CIGS IF EVERYONE DID THIS WHAT TYPE OF EXCESS WEIGHT WOULD THAT BE? THEN AS BEFORE WE COULD NOT SIT TOGETHER AGAIN AND TO TOP IT ALL MY SEAT WAS BROKEN TOLS STEWARDESS THEN THAT WAS IT, 4 AND HALF HOURS LATER 10 MINS JUST COMING INTO LAND WAS TOLD HAD TO MOVE AS SEAT WAS MOVING AND TOLD TO GO TO FRONT WHERE THERE WAS 4 EMPTY SEATS! WHERE MY WIFE AND I COULD HAVE SAT TOGETHER! WHAT A FARCE AGAIN, SO LET ME TELL YOU ALL I WILL NEVER FLY WITH THOMAS COOK AGAIN AND RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE ELSE DOES THIS IS A VERY LOW BUDGET AIRLINE WITH THE VERY LOW BASIC CARE AND AIRLINE WOULD OFFER, EVEN EAZYJET ARE BETTER THAN THESE AND THEY NARE CRAP TOO!
