Select Quote rude, unprofessional, BBB issues

I called for a quote. He added on a quote I didn't call about, was supposed to just send info for me to look over. Wanted a credit card to " hold the quote". He was specifically told not to put anything in place. Said he understood. Papers came. I threw them out after discussing with the Mr. Agent put policy through, I've been charged for a policy for my baby, for 3 months now, unknowingly. He keeps calling, to schedule a nurses appt, for my husband and I. I emailed and called to say not interested. Today, he answered and said, rudely, I don't have time for you, and hung up on me. It's ok for him to harass me but I cant call to say stop?

The raider person below trying to put everyone i check I'm sure is Joel Clark, the #1 agent at Select Quote for several years runnung.

Select Quote Poor follow up

Select Quote Sucks! Go somewhere else for your insurance.
I am on week 8 of a 4-6 week process and it looks like it will be another month before they are done with underwriting.

To all of those on this board that imply I don't understand the process I just want you to know I answered every question truthfully, filled in every blank, and signed every spot. Since then I have given more data, signed and resigned multiple documents. The gal I have been dealing with has been pleasant and does return phone calls within 24 hours as her voice mail suggests. However after week 3 she has not initiated any follow up. All requests on my part to assist with gathering any information has not been taken.

My complaint is that if it takes 8 weeks say so, if it takes 12 weeks say so, and if it takes 6 months say so. Then at least follow up and let me know what is happening. Even an e-mail would be appreciated.

My decision now is do I wait another month or start again with another company.

Select Quote Bait & Switch

This company does bait & switch & is a waste of time to deal with. Check with friends who have term life insurance instead, when looking for yours.

Here's what happened:
1. They gave me a $27/month quote for $500K 20 year term life insurance policy - I'm a 38 year old woman in good health, non-smoker.
2. After I did all the paperwork & blood work, because of 2 auto accidents listed as my fault on my DMV records they said it would be $200/month for the $500K policy I wanted, but I could get $100K 10 year term life insurance policy for $35 / month, saying I could cancel at anytime, say after 2-5 years when the auto accidents came off my record to get another policy with an amount closer to the original rate I was quoted
3. Then they sent me a 57 year policy with no cancellation provisions, where the premiums just get ridiculous after 10-years $65, 000 / year at age 95 $22, 000 a year at age 48 on a $100K policy. Insane. And they expected me just to sign that? Excuse me? I said yes to a 10 year term policy for a lot less coverage and a much higher premium than I wanted & they want me to sign something for 57 years with no provisions for canceling, as they had said. I wanted something that matched what I agreed to. What I was sent was bull ###.

I emailed Selectquote.com for a life insurance quote over a year ago. I am still receiving phone calls to this day from people wanting to sell me insurance. They just sell your info, my problem is I stupidly listed my cell number. I get call as late as midnight. Learned my lesson. No one of course wants to help me to stop this they could not care less. Good Luck.

it kind of seems like your driving record is the issue, which wouldn't be their fault

I got my life insurance through YourLifeSolution.com and had no problems

I had a policy with them and did not have any problems. Maybe I was lucky?
