PMC Property group Lack - Missing Customer Service

PMC Property Group only gets 1 start due to the totally and completely subzero lack of not only Customer Service but general knowledge, caring and manners. The entire team from Jim to Tricia to Marion to the corporate office clearly do not know how to return a phone call. First issue was not believing all the bad reviews on line about the management staff. It started with the property 203 north 3rd street, upon move in date the keys that Jim said would be at the apartment were not there, several call to Jim who to this date of this posting were NEVER returned. Finally reached Marion who stated "well I don't know what your going to do". This is not an acceptable answer from someone in the service industry. I finally got the keys and then, shelves were not installed in the closet, the shower head was not installed, old glue stains in the floor inside the front door, there is tape all around the windows to keep out the drafts and the lights in the high tops are all different style lights. Wow. I would be very happy to speak with the Management on all my issues and how they can over come many of their customer related issues. Certainly when it comes to PMC Property Management - RENTERS BEWARE! with the amount of rent that you pay you should at least be able to have your billing on the infamous Rent Café be correct. As of today it was also wrong.

PMC Property group black mold

My apartment located at 2031 south st, philadelphia, pa, became infested with mold last summer. I informed management by calling them constantly, I also e-mailed them and still have the e-mails about my problem in the apartment. The issue was not dealt with, the problem became worse, mushrooms started growing out of the wall, black toxic mold started covering the walls, and I was coughing for unknown reasons and always had a runny nose. I became so fed up with their lack of concern, that I told them either they let me out of the lease and give back my security (the lease was not to end until April 2010) or I would file legal action and leave no matter what. They agreed to my terms but as I was moving out, I found out my couch that I recently bought in May for 1200, was completely infested in the back with mold. The fabric was ate away by the mold it was so bad. They paid me for an area rug the sum of 117.00 but refused to pay for the couch with no other reason than I should get my renter's insurance to pay for it. I didn't have renter's insurance and when I did, I still would have had a $500.00 deductible. The destruction of my new couch was caused completely by their negligence. I made them fully aware of the severe mold problem and told them over and over it was getting worse and they did nothing. I have attached several pictures of the damage, the one's that most accurately depict the damage are stated to be 'too large' though. I can be reached at phone number 215.528.1697, thank you for your time. April Fisher

Do not rent here! The customer service is dreadful, Selena is rude and needs a diferent job- one that requires little human interaction. Also, the ceiling of the parking structure fell in on our vehicle and they are REFUSING to do anything about the damage. The incident occured 3 months ago and they have ALL ignored emails and phone calls- they will only deliver a message through little miss sunshine (Selena) that they will do nothing. We are filing a lawsuit and filing a BBB complaint. Absolutely Deplorable!

I just moved into 55 Trumbull St Apt in Hartford in March 2012 and I like the location and the residents. However, I agree with the complaints listed above. The staff does not act with a sense or urgency or compassion towards its residents. The day I moved in, there were multiple service issues: the shelf in my closet was broken, one of my lights was out in the kitchen and the hallway and the shower head wasn't sealed to the wall. The maintenance person fixed my closet shelf by zip tying it together. Then, I submitted a service request on a Tuesday to have my toilet fixed because it wouldn't flush. It's now Monday and it still hasn't been fixed, even with multiple emails to my leasing consultant, who assured me it would be fixed on Friday. The rudest part about it was when I emailed him this morning to get an answer as to why it was not fixed on Friday, I asked if there was someone else I needed to speak with. Without apologizing, he provided me with the main number to the office and asked that I call there with any future questions.

DO NOT rent from PMC Property Group. The staff is not responsive. Things (the heat, faucets, etc) in the units break constantly and the maintenance isn't timely. Search google for the controversy about the way they were billing for electricity. Trust me, don't rent from this place. People are moving out left and right.

I have also had bad experiences with Salena in the pearl st office. She not only is rude but my account has gone into evictions 3 time in the past 6 months due to her negligence. I have recived numerous late fees and legal notices and all along I have paid my rent in full and one time. I can understand one mistake but when it happens over and over there is a problem that someone is not paying any attention to. I have lived at 55 Trumbull St for 3 plus years and regretfully will not be renewing my lease due to poor management. I went inot the office to discuss these matters and there isnt even a proerty manager, the only person I could talk to was Salena. I'm sure she isnt telling anyone that she is amking these mistakes! It just seems unfair and that is why I am leaving. I did enjoy my time here, the building is wonderful and I will be sad to go.

I agree I am a resident of another of the PMC properties and while the apartments themselves are pretty nice, the customer service makes it almost unbearable to live there. The response time and the poor attitutde when (especially from a woman named Selena) asking for any help is frustrating to no end. P.S. I am moving out.

(The Metropolitan on Pearl street- Hartford CT) I love the apartment and location. The rent is a little expensive but expected for the downtown hartford area. Me and my husband both work in hartford CT and I just wanted to put in a complaint against the pmc management team. Everyone in the office is really nice. The one I am complaining about is a girl named selena. She lacks the customer service skill that she really needs. She is beyond rude to the attendents almost makes me regret moving here. If this keeps up I will be forced to move and refer other friends and associates to different apartments. When you enter the office or call in maintenance she is very rude! Her attitude is almost unbearable. I have spoken to other attendants living in this building (the metropolitan on pearl street ) and they are experiencing the same issues and problems with this person. I am writing in hopes that this issue is addressed and her attitude is left at the door when she comes into work. I have lived here quiet some time and had no complaints or issues. I'm sorry but her attitude is overwhelming and unbearable. No attendant should be treated the way she is treating them. Thank you for your time!
