Scammed
Our Little Secret, Corp. has a big presence on the internet. It has at least ten sites related to spa and beauty. Dennis McCrindle is supposedly the president/owner, but I'm sure that's a pseudo name. I ordered over 500 worth of products and stupidly sent a check (they don't take cc cards--first sign of scam). Check cleared 6 weeks ago. I regularly sent email but only got a computer generated response from Mr. McCrindle. I called repeatedly to either go into voicemail or disconnected. I was told it would take six weeks to assemble my order but I think it was to give time to spend my money! there is no customer service and when I looked on the BBB complaint site there were over 35 complaints--I plan on pursuing with several agency including law enforcement. Does anyone have other suggestions. Look at all sites related to Our Little Secret, corp--they are all the same with different names--clearly a scam!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Cashed my check, never sent merchandise!!!
I have left MANY voice mails because nobody EVER answers the phone, and have sent atleast 5 emails to which I get the same email back every time, "I will look into it for you", and I never hear anything back except the last time when I didn't hear back at all. My check was cashed on July 19, 2010. (i Can provide a copy of my order, all emails and cashed check if requested, I keep EVERYTHING!)
Please keep me posted on any progress. I would LOVE for them to get busted in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM...I HATE A THIEF!
I have filed a complaint with the BBB, but since they aren't a member, there is nothing else they can do. I have filed complaints anywhere I can find, and posted on any boards that will listen but unfortunately, NO RESOLUTION!
No, nothing was ever resolved. I am still reporting to anyone and everyone I can find that will listen, and I filed a complaint with BBB, and they never got a response back from them either. All I can say is DO NOT DO IT! I am committed to getting the message out there that this company is a fraud and knowingly steals from hard working individuals!
Attempted to contact them again using the recommended site above...left information and complaint for about the 10th time now...NO RESPONSE. They don't even bother sending an email back saying "I'll look into it" like they did in the beginning. Now...NOTHING! Guess I got ripped off.
I never received a tracking number or even an email that stated my order was shipped. When I go onto the website to check my order status it still says "Sent to Manufacturing". I have sent emails to Spa Private Label as well as the OLS website...no results. I tried typing in the address above and sent another inquiry, I will let you know what I find out. Thank you for taking the time to comment, I will keep you posted.
After 13 months we have still not received our order and the money we sent is still in Dennis McCrindle's thieving hands. OLS Corp is a scam, pure and simple. He takes money from people and then closes off communication. Let the world know that he works out of a PO Box and his numerous online "businesses" are simply ways of taking cash. here is his linked in profile, an effort to come across as legit. My wife ordered some linens from one of the OLS Corp websites. After a couple months of nothing, I looked into it and have come to the conclusion that it's a scam. I sent a report to the RCMP and their online portal "recol.ca". I, too, am unrelenting and will follow up with all necessary agencies. It may just be linens, but fraudsters (if they are that, or just incompetent businessmen) cost Canada and its citizens, so let's coordinate and get to the bottom of this.
I too have been had by this company or should I say the owner Denis McCrindle. They use the RBC bank the Coquitlam Town Center Branch. I spoke to them and they said they cannot do anything but help this ### to keep steeling from people. I will go to the police now and open an investigation, If that does not get me my money back, I will use other methods. Please do not do business with this guy and pass on the word. Also try top not work with the RBC Bank.
I have had the same thing happen to me. I've been calling and emailing and for awhile I got email back--days later--that it takes six weeks--now six weeks have gone by and nothing! I am embarrassed to say, I sent a very substantial check, which was cashed. Does anyone know the recourse? I'm like a bulldog when I've been scammed and plan on pursuing until I'm satisfied.
wow! I find this very interesting i was thinking about placing an order...i did find their customer service "sketchy" anytime i ask questions about product or the company it takes 3-4 days for a half ### answer that doesnt really answer what i asked. In one email i asked if products were made in Canada and if i lived in Vancouver if i could pick up and if they had a showroom so i could come look at products for myself. all they replied was...no store. what ever happened for you? did things get resolved?

I have a suggestion, Let us meet go find this guy and beat the crap out of him and make sure he cannot do this anymore. Lawyer and judges and all other paraphernalia does not work with these people. I have attached a picture of this peace of crap for a human.
I like to get my hands on this ### then I will get my money back for sure. I too ordered from these people but never got anything. I guess the law does not apply to some.
