Degree verification
I key in the college name, the employee's name, birth date, SSN and my reference number then forget to hit the SUBMIT button and press enter instead. You wipe out all my data and I have to enter it all over again! This is a simple fix. Instead of wiping out all the data, issue a message that says "Press submit when all your data has been entered." Very poor design. I can't believe you haven't received this feedback before.

I was referred to this business by my university's website. I was led to believe that I had paid for a degree verification that would have an option for mailing a physical document to my home. Instead, I got a .pdf document that failed to include confirmation of my degree and only included the information that I am "not currently enrolled" at my university.
When I contacted customer service within minutes of realizing that what I had paid for was not what was promised, they got back to me two days later and told me that I am not eligible for a refund.
Avoid this business if at all possible!

I ordered a degree verification for a job candidate at my company.
DegreeVerify aka Student Clearinghouse immediately charged $10 to my credit card. Two weeks later, I have not received a degree verification.
Their phone number [protected] is useless. It simply directs you to their web site.
There is no way to check the status of your order on their web site. The help pages claim that you can do this, but the referenced pages don't exist.
They claim to have many colleges using their service. This is a complete fabrication as far as I can tell. Since I'm irritated I've been ripped off, I checked the websites of few other colleges on their list. None of them use degree verify.
I'm taking them to my state attorney general's office. Fortunately under my state's consumer protection laws, if they are doing business in my state (by charging my credit card), they are liable under my state's consumer protection laws.
