Looped In reviews and complaints
Misleading. False advertising.
I received a voicemail today from Brandi in HR at 50/50 communications about the Administrative position. I tried to google the company (b/c I always look for reviews from current/previous employees before calling back) but I found not one single thing about any 50/50 communications. I then entered the number that called me, which is [protected], into the google search bar and "Looped In Inc." popped up. I knew this company was a scam without even reading the reviews just because there was nothing about the "company" she was calling bout.
I just wanted to write this so people know that this company is changing their name.
Per Google, they go by:
50/50 Communications
Looped in Inc
Telecom Solutions Inc
Country of complaint: United States
Address: Upland, California
Fraudulent Employment Ads
Account Executive Sales Representative ( actually door to door canvassing for straight commission)
The role of the Account Manager is to help develop and execute the strategic sales and marketing plans for the key accounts of our firm. ( Key Accounts? NO, it's people in apartments and homes )
Maintain and build relationships with the key accounts. Develop and execute a sales and marketing plan for key accounts that meets or exceeds sales and margin targets. ( No, 1 time sale. What sales plan... they point you at a street and walk door to door ) Also, they are breeching CA Labor Codes for directing 1099 "contractors" in an attempt to not pay taxes.
Requirements: Through One to two years of sales experience you must be able to demonstrate acquired skill and measurable success in the following areas: ( Not based on the looks of the people working for them ).
The owner uses the name Alex and he is somewhat knowledgeable of English. I think he is from the Mideast. He claims he makes $200, 000 per year but his Goodwill suit negates the statement that he is making any money yet.

Looked up +[protected] and found this thread. They called me literally a hour or so after I submitted my resume on Indeed. (Seems like they need to check this stuff out). Anyway, they said their company was “TNT communications” and gave the call back number ending in 3887. Someone else called again maybe three hours later from -3886 saying the same thing as the first person 🤔. Next time they call me I’m gonna answer and tell them I’m going to report them because I know what they’re doing.
I think its hilarious that every singe post on here is for "Flint & Steel, 50/50 Marketing, or Telecom Solutions" when this job board is for "looped In" Does no one else notice that these businesses are separate and have nothing to do with each other? This COMPLAINTS BOARD is all over the place and looks like a place where close minded rejects who have no idea what they applied for go to cry, B###H and moan.
No you are all over the place. The phone# and address along with the same ##### of their HR "department" named Brandi Bonicci sends the same crappy emails after you apply, under different names. All of the above that you listed.
@barbara Britton THEY ARE DIFFERENT COMPANIES
All with the same exact freaking number? Are you blind? Did you read any of this!
I forgot exactly where I found the job posting to flint and steel consulting marketing position. I just needed a job upon graduating college and the posting called to me given that it stated no experience needed since they train you.
I received and email inviting me to an interview but given that it wasn't my first choice for what I'd like to do, I never called in. About a few hours later they called me therefore I accepted and went in. Met with Aaron, he had a degree from USC and claimed he did well. Second interview was with a guy named Taylor and same deal with him.
But this job is the stupidest job and scam ever. Taking this job for two days was a disgrace to my 4 year degree.
It was iffy to me but figured it a job, they have a degree and work here, it will be fine. But nooo
1. Make you go in at 7! Just to practice how you'll approach strangers at their better employment than yours to sell them tickets. And don't leave the office until 9 am
2. You get dropped off in random business buildings and wander and annoy ppl at their jobs. Walk in the heat from door to door
3. Still have to go gather at the office. Leave around 530
4. Also I applied to a position in riverside, but the Sunday before I started I got told they would be at the OC office for a week or so since they were barely starting the riverside office. My dumb### agreed and wasted more time abs gas.
5. Quit after two days cause I was not willing to go door to door, work 7-530, driving 1.5 hours each way. AND stupid managers had the audacity to call me unprofessional for quitting the morning of. When they lied about the job posting, hours, and location.
I couldn't care less and slept in great that morning. 3 weeks later found a job 20 minutes from me for $18 a hour. Thank god for life lessons.
I gotta a call and then an email. I googled the number and then this popped up. I had 5 or 6 phone calls today and googled all the numbers and got messages for interviews and emails. Well I sent them a message back and said NO THANK YOU AND YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. It's almost sickening looking for a job. No one calls you back and if they do they are scammers. Even had an offer for a personal assistant and then when I researched it found out it was a scammer to. Just sick of this crap. And this is the email I got from them.

First off, I am so glad I decided to look this place up before I wasted my time and entered the "illustrious second interview."
Received a phone call from "Sarah" informing me that the company was interested in interviewing me. The hiring window was closing, but they could fit me into a quick interview the next day. Drove out there for a 10:15 am interview located in your standard office building. First red flag was that on the window on the entrance doors there wasn't even a logo for "Flint & Steel" but two completely different companies (whoops!). Went to the receptionist to fill some paper work and the office was pretty bare with about 6 others sitting filling out the same form. I met with Aaron, who told me about himself and the company. He was a USC grad who was looking for a way into sports, like myself, and that Flint & Steel provided him that opportunity. He went onto explain how they're clients included the Angels, Kings, and Reign and how they provide ticketing packages for corporate businesses in order to increase stadium revenue for their clients (concessions, souvenirs, etc.) He quote on quote said "this isn't a sales position, no door-to-door or cold calling." Upon hearing that I said great! He told me compensation typically starts at 30-40k depending on "qualifications". Considering he didn't even bother looking over my resume, I have no idea how these "qualifications" are even determined. Anyways, I was an idiot and bought everything he was selling. He told me "I like you man!" and proceeded to invite me for a second interview and asked if 7:30-8 am worked. I said sure! A bit confused, I called the office later to determine what time I was expected to show up for the Monday interview and the receptionist told me Aaron would be in contact with me via email with the details. I received an email from Aaron later and it still didn't mention anything about when the second interview was scheduled for, but that I earned one. Great, so I got a second interview but don't know when I am even supposed to come in for it? Sounds like this company has fantastic planning!
Anyways, screw this place and don't waste your time. I feel like an idiot, but the way everything is worded and sold is a complete scam. There's no integrity or honesty right off the bat. Can't believe places like this are even able to stay in business.
I saw a very interesting job on Indeed talking about an Entry Level Representative- Entry Level Marketing. From the get go I should have been aware that this was not a legitimate offer but I decided against my best judgement because the posting said full time and paid training. Still just being curious I decided to submit my resume and cover letter and was immediately contacted by *Samantha via email and set up an interview the following day (today) at 10:30 am in Upland. When I arrived to the interview, i noticed a few people walking around in groups of 4 heading out to cars and driving off. Thats when I arrived at the front door and saw Telecom. My first thought was *SCAM* but I thought I would give *Alex a chance and see what he had to say. As I sat down with Alex he looked over my impressive resume and preceded to tell me how he graduated from UCLA and asked about my college experience and said there was another employee that went to the same college as I and how much she loved working for this company. At this time I was feeling a little more as ease; that was until I heard a girl from the office next door explaining to a caller that the office building was shared by Telecom, Sprint and Verizon. Alex* then explained the companies that Flint and Steel Consulting Inc partners and works with; at first I was interested until he spoke of selling tickets to Angels baseball games and compared it to hotel services such as Hotels.com. When I left my interview I was informed that if they were interested in me that I would receive a call between 4-5pm letting me if I am invited back to the second interview. They ended up calling me, left a message and an email hoping to see me tomorrow morning at 7:30 am. What kind of interview is at 7:30 am?
When I got home immediately Googled this company to see what it was all about but found nothing besides multiple job postings about the same job that I had applied for on Indeed and Craigslist. Might I add, whoever posted on Craigslist halfway through the job description spelled the company's name wrong! I then Googled the phone number and found all of these helpful comments and found out that my intuiton about this company was in fact true.
Wow...thank you for posting the above comments, regarding your personal experiences regarding this firm and apparently, other offices as I was contacted by the Thousand Oaks office.
I'm am so grateful for your posting's. It's sometimes difficult to sort through the BS that's out there. I was suspicious when I visited their website, which led me to look further and find your comments listed above.
Definitely false advertising when you consider their advertisements.
I have been searching and applying for jobs consistently for the past 6 weeks, but have not been able to secure anything.
I received a phone call from "Melissa" yesterday from [protected] saying they had reviewed my resume and were interested in interviewing me today. I got another call a couple hours before the time I had set up to go saying they were confirming the interview. I've never known any other company to call and check that you're coming. Either you show up or you don't. I was already a little weary as there was little to no info on their website about the position and I had to go back to the posting on indeed for details. After searching again, I came across this and now I'm so glad that I didn't waste my time going out there.
I didn't even remember applying, I checked my email and it showed I had submitted an application at 5am yesterday, which is impossible since I was asleep during that time. Also when I got the first phone call, it wasn't made clear where they were calling from. They did not say Telecom Solutions, but something else which led me to believe it was another job I had applied for until I got the email confirming the interview.
A prestigious company will not be kissy kissy to you on the phone -flag#1 A legitimate business will not call to REMIND you of your interview -flag#2 They tell you hiw to dress...#3 I SMELL A RAT
"Melissa" is the front for this "Telecom-solutions inc.". She's good at her job, luring in unsuspecting job hunters. But NOT ME
Sarah Caporali
[protected] Another Number for this Company as well :/ Sounded fishy
Yeah just FYI its not one company going by different names, they are separate companies. If you look up Telecom Solutions you will see for yourself that they are NOT the other companies listed. Do better research before you try and start a negative review thread.
Hello I was contacted by them. Operating as 50/50 Marketing website http://5050-marketing.com/ Email was signed: "Brandi Bonicci Human Resource Team"
When I called the office sounded busy, I spoke with Brandi and she said they deal in government and local marketing.
