LendingPoint I'm getting charged a different interest rate

I'm getting charged a different interest rate. I cant remember the exact interest rate, but I do remember it being near 35%. I don't understand how I'm paying 65.88% interest so far and only 34.12% has gone towards my principal. That is like the exact opposite, I have paid $6,507.15 so far (13x$500.55 payments) and only $2,220.38 has gone towards principal (34.12%) and 4,286.77 (65.88%) has gone towards interest. I'm being charged 65.88% interest at the moment. Its pretty disgusting that I have paid 6,507.15 out of 15,158 and still owe 13,264.52. I contacted them and have received no response. Not sure what I should do from here. I've never missed a payment, and I auto pay 500.55 a month. I just checked before I sent this, and now it says ive only made 12 payments, and seems like numbers changed.. It says 35.25% principal ($1,940.79) and 64.75% interest $3,565.26 which is 5,506.05 but thats 1 payment short of 13, this months which is 13 isnt on their. I was told 500.55 a month x 3 years. thats 18,019.80. 858 I paid in fees off the bat, 2,861 is the amount of interest I should pay and i have paid 2,220.38 in the first 13 out of 36 payments. I should only owe 640.62 in interest out of the whole loan agreement. I have paid as much as 471 in interest out of the 500.55. 10/03 I recevied 14,300 after fees. XX-XX-XX was my first payment, and i made 3 payments in june. That would be 13 tottal. Loan # LAI-XXXXXXXX

False pre approvals just like Credit Karma. Was sent preapproval with the green thumbs up stating my chances were good for approval. The offer was for $12,000 and I asked for $8000 credit score 689 debt to income 15%. I want the inquiry removed from my credit. I am concerned now because this company has my information. The rep I spoke to says its system not a human that reviews the application. Misleading offers.

When I performed a name search on the Internet, I learned that some of my personal data was being used without my consent. As a result, I filed a complaint. My information was collected by an aggregator website, which instructed me to contact around nine different websites in order to have it removed after checking the website's FAQ section first. In addition to feeling violated since I value my privacy, having to ask to have my possessions taken made me feel ashamed. My report contains unapproved fraudulent accounts, and I would like such accounts to be terminated and fixed. Take away all inaccurate and negative accounts from my credit report. My capacity to get credit has been harmed by this. I'm making every effort.

LendingPoint I had a personal loan which I paid off early

I had a personal loan which I paid off early. They immediately closed my account and locked my access from my account. Payoff check was more than owed As stated above, the check that was sent to lending point exceeded the payoff balance. Additionally, there was a loan fee that is supposed to be prorated and refunded. There as been zero transparency. I have called, sent 3 emails and the last received no response. This was the email: To whom it may concern: I have made several attempts by phone and email to resolve my concerns without resolution. My next step will be exercised in a different approach. In regards to my loan early payoff, the following applies. Prepayment: If you prepay in full, we will rebate any unearned portion of the origination fee as required by Utah Code Ann. § 70C-X-XXX(X)(c)(ii). " (ii) Any prepaid finance charges in addition to the prepaid finance charges described in Subsection (2)(c)(i) are considered to be earned proportionally over the entire term of the agreement, and in that event of prepayment, any unearned portion of such charge, calculated on a pro rata basis according to the remaining term of the agreement, shall be rebated. To date, I have received nothing to support this action. Thanks for your immediate attention to this matter. Respectfully, *** It's embarrassing that this company just won't do the right thing and that I have to use the Complaintsboard.com to have compliance. Honestly, it feels they're upset that I paid off my loan earlier.

I am a victim of identity theft. I discovered this loan was attained fraudulently using my information. I have attempted to resolve this with Lending Point, but they are not responding. We attempted to fax a fraud packet to a fax number provided by Lending Point on 7/18/22 and 7/19/22, but it failed both times. As a result, fraud packets were mailed to Lending Point via certified mail, and delivered on 7/25/22, 8/5/22 and 8/29/22. We have also called Lending Point to inquire about the investigation on 7/25/22, 7/29/22, 8/1/22, 8/5/22, 8/23/22, 9/1/22, 9/6/22, 9/7/22, and each time the agents state documents are on file but no steps have been taken to investigate or resolve the matter.

I secured a loan from LendingPoint LLC in April 2022. Diligently, I made each payment and decided to refinance through my credit union, American Heritage, in August 2022. Subsequently, I received a cashier's check from the bank, which I dispatched to LendingPoint. Unfortunately, LendingPoint reported they were unable to locate the check but assured me they would persist in their search. During this period, my August payment was approaching its due date. I maintained regular communication with the company as they attempted to track down the check and even provided them with proof of delivery.

The payoff letter and cashier's check contained all necessary account information. Despite my efforts, I was portrayed unfavorably as LendingPoint continued to pressure me for the August payment, threatening to impact my credit score negatively, yet promising to rectify the situation upon locating the check. My interactions with one of their managers were particularly distressing; this individual exhibited unprofessional behavior and repeatedly neglected to return my calls with updates.

Compelled by the circumstances, I paid the August installment and also serviced the refinanced loan in September 2022. The stress induced by this ordeal has been considerable. In an effort to resolve the issue, I presented a document from my bank to LendingPoint, which required their signature to halt the original check's payment and allow for a new one to be issued. However, the manager in question declined to sign the document and instead opted to pass it on to their legal department. It is imperative for me to reach a resolution promptly, not only for my mental well-being but also for the sake of my family.

Someone from IT was suppose to email me and I have yet to hear from anyone. All I want to do is access my account and make additional payments. Not sure what the issue is, but would like this resolved ASAP.

On August 4, 2022, I applied for financing for Invisalign through their app (which is through Lending Point) and was approved for $10,000. On August 8th, my dentist ran the payment of $5,520 through the virtual card that was provided on the app and received notification that it was processed. The following day, I received a text stating, 'Your Invisalign virtual card & loan agreement have been cancelled. We're sorry to see you go! You're welcome to reapply at any time.' I spoke with merchant support on August 13th and was told that they were submitting a ticket to investigate and would get back to me. I called again on August 26th to follow up since I had not heard back and was told there was no update yet. I made another call on September 2nd, was informed that the management team was working on it and that someone would get back to me. On September 27th, I was told there was still no update, but the ticket was still active. Additionally, I sent an email on September 4th and received a response confirming they are working on it, yet there was no subsequent follow-up. My concern is that this service was paid for and now no account exists for me. I don't want to be sent to a collection agency because of their inability to resolve this issue.

LendingPoint Hi, my complaint is with the financial company lending point

Hi, my complaint is with the financial company lending point. I had received false calls of people in foreign countries impersonating lending point. rather they have worked for lending point in the past or, they are somehow aware of how things work there by other means, I received a call saying I qualified for a small personal loan of ***. I called them back on a different number, found on their website and they told me they had no idea what I was talking about. And then when I tryed reapplying with them they told me I don't qualify because my credit score isn't high enough. They wanted like a 650 credit score which is unbelievable to me. These loans services were supposed to be designed for the people who are poor, and with no credit. No bad history. Nothing saying they are unreliable. And for someone like me it would be my first chance applying for a personal loan, and I can't even show anyone I am capable of doing so. Times are hard in general for the younger people, because we don't have a lot of knowledge of getting things to work smothly, and these times we are in make it even harder for people to succeed, and these important financial rescorces are held in our faces without promise of anything. And when you take away what people need it puts them in poverty or homelessness. This is not how things should be, especially in ***, ***. A person with knowledge of lending point has now gotten my personal information and is probably using it, somehow. Please reply. Thanks

the reason being I did originally called in September 2nd to push out my payment again, I was informed in regards to the reduce payment hardship program, which I signed up for, however, I was not informed that another payment would be taken out. I was informed that my $203 and some cents would cover august payment, September, and October with my regular payment being establish in November. This has set me back on getting back on track. And I was not informed that payment would come out. I was informed a refund would take *** business days and even more after review to be sent back to me, I can't be negative in my account for that long. I request that my refund be expedited.

One of their employees stated that she made a mistake and the next thing the hard pulled shows up on my credit report. I want the company to make the correction in Experian, Transunion and Equifax . LendingPoint On October 5 I called Lending Point and spoke with a customer service agent and let them know I would be sending a check to pay my loan

On October 5 I called Lending Point and spoke with a customer service agent and let them know I would be sending a check to pay my loan off. The representitive gave me the address to where to send the check. I sent it, Lending Point received it around Oct. 24, 2021. Today, Nov. 12, I checked my credit report and found where my loan was not paid off. They have charged me an additional $51.62 in interest. I called this evening and explained that I was not even aware that was charged to my account and had I not checked my credit report I would have never known, as I received NO notification from them at all regarding this extra interest. I was told they would only notify me if the payment was late. I asked that it be waived and was denied by a manager. I was told that because I looked at my account on the website I got the wrong amount, they charge insterest daily. While looking at the site I found the following: "As a paperless company, we do not send statements by mail. Our customer portal makes it easy to manage your account, check your progress, and contact us." Obviously this is not the case as the reps don't tell you what your pay off is and the site does not have a "pay off amount" anywhere on it. They left it up to me to find the payoff amount and I paid more than the amount on the website and still got hit with an extra $51.62 charge. I feel this is unfair and a sneaky way to do business. I would like the "extra" interest fee waived. if it were principle I would understand, but it is not.. It's interest after the fact.

My Lending Point payment was due 8/26, Friday. Today is Monday. in the 84 hours since my payment was officially overdue, Lending Point has 1. Called my cell phone 3 times 2. Texted me twice 3. Emailed me three times I answered the 3rd call. The payment is 84 hours late. Not 10 days, not 20 days, or 29 days. Being 84 hours late does not give Lending Point license to harass their customers.

Experian made suggestions for loan consolidation; however, viewing the list of loans, I did not apply due to the excessive interest that would be charged. I never moved forward with the process and closed the email. Today, August 31, 2022, I got a letter about a loan I had never applied for. After calling the company, The rep told me not to worry because it was just a soft inquiry. I was not a soft inquiry. Who gives them the right to run credit without permission? I asked for proof of my granting permission along with all supporting documents. The rep said I should file a police report. This was a blatant fraud. I want the inquiry removed ASAP.

I checked my credit report and noticed I had late payments from FINWISE/LENDINGPOINT . I was going through a hardship caused by COVID since the beginning of 2022 for which I have notified the company multiple times. As you can see, I have made most of my payments on time so I am asking in goodwill faith for this one time to please remove all late payments from my credit report. I am trying to increase my score to qualify for a mortgage and I would greatly appreciate if you guys would forgive the late payments.

I had my account in autopay. I got a notice that the payment didnt go through. I called the company and they claimed it wasnt on auto pay which is a blatant lie. Then they told me because the payment was late (due to their negligence) I was taken off a program and had to make higher monthly payments. They assured me Id be on auto pay for the next one. Sure enough, I have just received a late payment notice. I called the company and got a very unprofessional representative who told me that it was just because the bank was closed. That makes no sense. She also argued with me about the reason my payments are higher. Saying I was only in that program for 3 months. The last person did not say that. I do not trust this company and will have to continuously log in and check payments. And the customer service is atrocious. I feel I am owed lower payments and an explanation for their negligent practices.

LendingPoint In the loan application process I was requested to provide my username and passwords to my bank accounts

In the loan application process I was requested to provide my username and passwords to my bank accounts. In the loan application process I was requested to provide my username and passwords to my bank accounts, and to authorize loan point with a subset of permissions to see my entire transaction history and etc. I applied online, and the loan officer called me and told me that I was pre-approved. In doing business with any other financial institution for a loan, I have only ever provided them with my banking information after being approved for a loan. This is typically provided so they know where to direct deposit the funds. I found it strange that loanpoint required my username/password to my usaa and wellsfargo and reluctantly provided it because I thought that I was already approved. I did question the loan officer on why the their site was requesting permission to my entire transaction history, and again this was after I had already provided this very sensitive information. Subsequently shortly after providing this information I was told my loan was denied and she couldn't tell me why. About 10min later I was approved through another financial institution for the same loan amount that I had requested from LendingPoint. So my concern is: #1 with cybersecurity of this organization. They now have my username, password, and PIN information for USAA and WellsFargo. Are they selling my transaction information to big-data consumers? How is my data protected? If they are hacked and my information is compromised what is their disaster recovery plan? #2 Why is this information requested prior to full loan approval?

LendingPoint beginning the process of contacting this business i was online seeking a loan this business guaranteed me a loan of *** with a low interest

beginning the process of contacting this business i was online seeking a loan this business guaranteed me a loan of *** with a low interest rate and four or five years to repay the loan at a really low monthly fee. over several days a rep would call me and have me to buy bitcoin over several of my apps cash app, zelle and even send me to a bitcoin atm to purchase bitcoin where they would withdraw the funds. on the day i was to get the funds they sent me a email offering insurance that i had to purchase which was to cover the repayment of the loan should i become unable to pay. i was to put $500 in my cash app but $500 worth of bitcoin and send it to a particular individual. which i did. but i never got the funds, no loan. instead, i get another email saying that the loan was processed and to finalize it i had to pay $799 which was to cover the taxes on this loan that i was guaranteed to get which was to include the return of the funds for bitcoin purchases, the loan insurance and the fees for taxes. in telling the rep i was going somewhere else to obtain a loan and that i wanted to have my funds returned to me because i never got the loan so i shouldn't need to pay fees for insurance or taxes or any other account verifications fees. this morning *** of America contacted me and informed me that they had closed my account for fraudulent activity. that this company had been accessing my bank account from a foreign ip address that was oversees and this company may be connected to fraud that i was to stop immediately doing business with this company as of 12/14 i reached out to the people involved and they refused to refund me my money

LendingPoint Prepayment: If you prepay in full, we will rebate any unearned portion of the origination fee as required by Utah Code Ann

Prepayment: If you prepay in full, we will rebate any unearned portion of the origination fee as required by Utah Code Ann. § 70C-3-101(2)(c)(ii). Greetings, and hope all is well. I am struggling to get resolution on my loan. I have contacted customer service via email, and via phone. I have now just closed my third loan with lending point. The 1st loan balance was rolled into the second loan. The 2nd loan balance was rolled into the 3rd loan. When I closed on the 2nd loan I was only charged an origination fee on what was funded not what was rolled over from the first loan. Now when I closed my 3rd loan they said they cant do that, and I have to pay the full 5% origination fee on the full amount even though I was paying off my 2nd loan. I rolled over $7880 form my 2nd loan to my third loan. I feel that I was just charged an origination fee twice for the same loan. Your loan contract states in full in the prepayment section. "Prepayment: If you prepay in full, we will rebate any unearned portion of the origination fee as required by Utah Code Ann. § 70C-3-101(2)(c)(ii)." I am trying to read up on the law. I am no lawyer by any means, but it states. " (ii) Any prepaid finance charges in addition to the prepaid finance charges described in Subsection (2)(c)(i) are considered to be earned proportionally over the entire term of the agreement, and in that event of prepayment, any unearned portion of such charge, calculated on a pro rata basis according to the remaining term of the agreement, shall be rebated." Why would loan #2 origination fee be calculated different then loan #3? Why would I have to pay the origination fee on the full amount, not just what was funded? I feel there might have been an overcharged fee as I was not funded this additional amount.

LendingPoint My issue occurred between 10/20 through 11/11

My issue occurred between 10/20 through 11/11. I was on Credit Karma and was referred to Lending Point for a personal loan, the interest rates were fair and the amount financed was suitable for my needs so I applied. I was already prequalified and thought this would be a simple way of obtaining the finances I need. When I first applied to LendingPoint everything was going smooth until after the first week went by and nothing changed on my account status after I had applied. I called lending point who referred me to their loan specialist. The specialist took care of the missing information that was missing to update my account status. After a week went by after signing the contract I never received my funds, after I called again they informed me my bank did not meet the underwriting parameters and that they could not deposit my loan. Lending point states I had a negative balance on my bank record, which I laughed because my bank does not let me go negative and I have overdraft protection. However after some review with my bank turns out their was 1 time my account showed a negative balance during a holiday weekend when their system was not reflecting account balances after deposits were made. This prevented me from receiving my funds through lending point as a result. Be aware this company's Underwriting system is a nightmare. I spent over 3 weeks on a prequalified loan that was set in motion and was held up due to their system. This encounter was like borderline fraud considering I have the screenshot showing the loan APPROVED and the signed contract in hand but no funds received. This was a waste of time, not how I would have like to have conducted business, don't let an automated system run your company through the mud and upset your consumers like it has for me.

LendingPoint I have an auto payment set up with my Fidelity account

I have an auto payment set up with my Fidelity account. My payment was due on 2-15-22. Lending Point took it upon themselves to use a card I had on file that I authorized a one time use. I asked them why they did and they said the system messed up and authorized it and would refund me. Today, they called back and claimed I did the transaction and the only way to fix it since I had a payment due on [protected] is to make another payment and then they would refund it. I have screenshots of the actions they illegally used the account not on autopay and shows my fidelity account. I then immediately called my bank to dispute it today. Called LP back to tell them that this is fraud. At the same time I then went in to login to my LP online account. It says invalid login credentials. I then call them. They said oh your email we show is *** We dont change that. Concurrently I used that one just to reset password and login. Upon logging in, they had also unenrolled my autopay. Unauthorized debit, removed my previous email that they were only aware of because I was communicating with rep from Saturday when I first started to discuss this issue, and withdrew me from my auto pay. Its important to clarify that I told them on that recorded call it states in the profile tab that if I want to change basically any demographic which includes email, I would have had to call them. I did not and had just logged in on Saturday with my *** login in. Clearly there are no safeguards around one time authorizations, updating demographics, and unenrolling from things I have opted into. They are unethical and not have reason to believe I am not the only customer they have done this to. They caused my account to be overdrawn and I had overdraft fees. This must not be tolerated.

LendingPoint When checking the eligibility requirements for LendingPoint, their website specifically states you need a verifiable bank account in your name

When checking the eligibility requirements for LendingPoint, their website specifically states you need a verifiable bank account in your name. This is misleading because actually they do not accept certain banks AND the account must be open for at least a year. So, just having a verifiable bank account does not make you eligible like their website states. Also, when speaking with the loan specialist they are certain customers can use savings accounts, as long as the account is with a accepted bank & open for at least a year. Well after I signed a loan agreement, provided all of my documents, linked my external bank accounts for verification through the service Plaid, I was told my loan could not be fulfilled. When I called the customer service department to get more details on why my loan was denied, I was told they do NOT accept savings account so this is why my loan was denied. I explained I spoke with multiple loan specialist who were adamant that I could. I was even instructed by their loan specialist to link through plaid & submit bank statements for my chime checking account, so they could verify my direct deposit (they can not deposit funds into chime bank, so they do not accept this bank), and then link my *** through plaid & submit that statement just so they would have an account to deposit my funds into. The customer service reps checked with their managers and they also stated this is not true, and my loan was in fact denied because they dont accept savings account, and they cant deposit funds into my Chime checking account. My information was submitted, a hard inquiry of my credit was pulled, and I signed a loan agreement that stated my monthly payments, loan amount, origination fees, loan terms, and my APR/finance charges. I feel this is a deceptive practice.

LendingPoint I took out a personal loan from Lending Point for $50,000 over a 5 year period

I took out a personal loan from Lending Point for $50,000 over a 5 year period. Of the $50,000 $2,350 was charged in origination fees. I was told on the phone when taking out this loan that if I repaid early then I would be entitled to a portion of this fee back. How much would depend on how early I repaid it. Also on the second page of my contract the same was stated clearly. I repaid the full amount of the loan in 3 months and expected to receive the refund automatically. After a month I contacted them and they opened a case. On August 22 I received the following email:Good afternoon ***! I hope all is well. I am reaching out to update on your Rebate Dispute. After careful review, our accounting team has confirmed that you are not eligible for an Origination Fee Rebate. This is due to the origination being determined by the amount that is above 5% of the loan and as for your account, the fee is exactly 5%. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free email me back and or give us a call at *** and we will be more than happy to assist you. LendingPoint *** Representative II *** T: *** |No mention on the phone or in my contract refers to the 5% they talk about in the email. They are clearly trying to change the terms after the fact and cheat me out of my rebate. Attached is my contract with them. Please see the following clearly stated on page 2.Prepayment: You may prepay in full or in part at any time without penalty. Paying early can reduce the total amount of interest you must pay. If you prepay in full, we will rebate any unearned portion of the origination fee as required by *** Code ***. 70C-3-101(2)(c)(ii).

LendingPoint Vice President of Lending Point Collections informed me via email about a non-existent account.

I was informed by the Vice President of Lending Point Collections via email that an account in my name will be sold to a third party. I would like to inform you that this is a fraudulent act from Lending Point. I have not had an open account with Lending Point since 2021 when my loan was paid off completely and closed. The account in question is not legitimate and there is no documentation of its existence. However, I have plenty of documentation showing an error Lending Point's processing bank made in June 2022, where they inadvertently reprocessed debit transactions from my year-old file, incorrectly debiting my personal checking account for $10,823.58. I stopped payment on that transaction, so it never went through. Lending Point then issued me a reversal of the debits without my request or approval. I made many attempts to return the funds to Lending Point and on September 1st, I sent $10,823.58 back to the processing bank. I have documents proving this. There was never an account opened in my name nor an attempt from Lending Point to collect any debts. The account was, in reality, an error that was corrected. Selling an account in my name, that never existed, to collections is fraud. No one from the company will assist me or call me back. I want this false account removed from collections, the negative impact on my credit corrected, and for Lending Point to acknowledge their error to prevent future customer issues. I want them to never access my personal banking accounts again and to resolve this issue permanently.

LendingPoint I used Lending Point for a loan a couple of years ago

I used Lending Point for a loan a couple of years ago. I paid them off and did everything I was suppose to do. Well back in June 2022 (and remember I have not used them in over a year) they ripped out *** dollars out of my account. So I called them the next day and they reverted it (and apparently had this happen to a lot of customers) and I had them delete my Checking account from their file. Apparently when they gave the money back they also gave me an extra *** dollars. Honestly I did not know they did this because I got an inheritance so at the same time I had money coming in from that (which I am using for my daughter down payment). To make a long story not as long they did not contact me in any way. You would think if they wanted their money back they would contact you. Since they did not have my checking account anymore they went directly to my bank and had them take every cent I had. This was not *** but it was over *** dollars and every cent I had in my account. now the *** was in my Savings which my bank happily transferred to my check and gave them it all. Now since then I have stopped using that account because I didn't even know who took the money until today (my bank wouldn't tell me and only said a letter was sent) so I had to assume more was coming. FYI that *** was put aside for my daughter's house payment (her first house) but luckily I had the rest of the down payment in another account and bank. we are suppose to close this week so I had to do a lot of work to make sure she has the money for the closing because of this. I get I owe the money even though they gave it to me without my knowledge (after they stole *** dollars from me) but ripping money out of my bank account without telling me is a very bad business practice. What I do ask for is an apology and to set up a payment plan so I don't have to take money out of my inheritance to deal with this. if you are considering a loan don't use Lending Point!

LendingPoint On December 1st I applied and was approved with Lending point for *** loan

On December 1st I applied and was approved with Lending point for *** loan. I applied because I was preapproved on credit karma. After being approved, I even signed the loan contract and gave my banking information. The online portal said my funds would be deposited within 1-2 business days. I thought everything was fine. I never got a call or email after that, so on the 3rd I reached out and was told they were waiting on additional documentation, my Bank statements and pay stub. I provided that immediately and didnt get a response until I followed up with multiple emails to *** and also called. I was told on the phone everything was good and that because I have a fraud alert on my credit the underwriter would call me to verify my identity. That never happened until today, mind you I send another email on Saturday after calling in again and being told to remove the fraud alert myself to expedite everything which I couldnt because it was the weekend. So finally the underwriter calls me this morning verified my identity says nothing about doing a HARD PULL on my credit AGAIN. And says she will proceed with the underwriting. I logged into the customer portal only now to see that my loan was not approved. I call back immediately and was told it was denied because my credit score didnt pass with clarity it needed to be 850. I spoke to a manager who said the language was in my contract that a hard pull would be done and I asked her where and it took her 15 minutes just to cite something that did not state this contract was contingent upon another hard pull. The contract states that I have the right to all communication and when I asked her for that she said it has to be subpoenaed, I said no thats not what the contract states. She proceeded to put me on hold for 15 minutes and said she was looking to see how they can provide me that information and never did. The call disconnected and still havent gotten a call back.

LendingPoint In a Settlement Agreement letter I received from Lending Point dated 9/2 and signed by Lending Point Collections Specialist Tiffany

In a Settlement Agreement letter I received from Lending Point dated 9/2 and signed by Lending Point Collections Specialist Tiffany Buchanan, Lending Point entered into an agreement with me that I would pay them $5,256.00 and my account would be closed. For (9) months (from Sept. 2020 through May ) I paid Lending Point $350.40 each month for a total amount of payment of $3,153.60. On June 3, I paid my remaining balance of our settlement agreement ($2,102.40) via my bank, Virginia Credit Union (see attached document labeled Lending Point Final Payment). Since this time I have phoned Lending Point (4) times requesting that this payoff be reported to the credit bureaus. The first time I was told it would be reported within 30 days by an employee named "Rachel." When this account was still showing as an 'open' account and 'unpaid balance' on my credit report after 47 days I attempted to reach out to Lending Point again and request they report it to the credit bureau as "settled." Again I waited approximately another 60 days for it to be updated on my credit reporting. Still it was not. Each time I call and speak with someone at Lending Point they basically tell me, "we have already reported it as settled - paid off...there is nothing else we can do to assist you, you can always file a dispute to the credit bureau, etc etc." I have also left at least (3) voicemails for Ms. Buchanan regarding the same matter on her work voicemail and I have not received any return calls or emails from her. NOTE: The only additional information I would like to provide is I am no longer able to dispute this with LP directly because I have to be able to login in order to do that. Lending Point website no longer gives me the option to login and the only email address on file they have for me is [protected]@ccjta.org which is an old work email that I no longer have access to. PLEASE any assistance that the Complaintsboard.com can provide in helping correct this is appreciated!

LendingPoint I applied for a personal loan with a company named Lending Point on or about May 27, 2022

I applied for a personal loan with a company named Lending Point on or about May 27, 2022. I was not informed that I was approved but noticed six transactions of $175.14 or $175.16 in my checking account. The company representative *** contacted me and said these transactions were to make sure that my account information was correct. I noticed most of the monies were removed from my account except for $436.00. The gentleman called me on May 27, 2022 and said that I needed to go to *** before 7 AM the following day which was Saturday, May 28, 2022 to purchase a gift card to remove the money from the account and that if I did not do so the amount would be doubled because it was deposited for verification. I got up to comply and went to *** but it was after 7 AM so of course they doubled the amount to $872.00. *** was on the phone with me the whole time and instructed me to go to customer service to purchase two *** gift cards in the amount of $435.00 each. The funds returned back to him and I thought that was it, but it was not. Those 6 transaction amounts were back and showed up in a new checking account I opened because the checking account this all initially happened in was closed by my bank. I have since been trying to reach this gentleman *** at the number I have listed to no avail. Then on todays date of June 7, 2022 my bank sends me copies of six checks written out to me from Chilis (the restaurant) in the same amounts of the initial transactions shown above. I have never in my life worked for this company and I do not recognize any of the signatures on these checks from the front and the back. I have not worked since July after a stroke and Im now retired and receiving a monthly retirement income. My new checking account is overdrawn over $800.00 which is not of my doing. I need help to rectify the situation with my bank and have these monies removed from my account to clear my account and put it back to good standing.

LendingPoint Applied for a personal loan with LendingPoint, LLC on January 1st, 2022, suggested by CreditKarma

Applied for a personal loan with LendingPoint, LLC on January 1st, 2022, suggested by CreditKarma. I make almost 40K per yr. went through their app process via their website. Uploaded all required documentation i.e., bank statements that have been open 3 + yrs with a steady income, current employment pay stubs, unemployment income stubs for over a year while the shutdown transpired, and my previous employer (6+mo) prior to the worldwide shutdown. I gave an accurate account of almost 3 years of steady income. However, since I applied on the 1st of Jan., 2022, LendingPoint completed a HARD CREDIT check on that same day then sent me an "Executed Loan Contract" which included the contract for the loan ALREADY prefilled FROM THEM + loan payment breakdown, etc. on January 1st, 2022. I called to inquire on Jan. 3, 2022, & was told that I would receive an email by Jan. 5 2022 with more information. The next day an email said they needed previous employment stubs so I sent that on Jan. 4th, 2022 then they asked for that same information so I sent it again on Jan. 5th, 2022. I called on Jan. 5th & the rep said she needed the same info again to move forward so I sent it to her too then got an email from the original Jr *** again asking for the previous employment start/end date again, which I sent. Got an email about 2 hours stating that due to information on my credit report that I have been denied which is baffling. I have fairly good credit from all 3 creditors, I have a GREAT mortgage history with outstanding payments, an open revolving credit that is in good standing, a good median credit score between the 3 creditors. However, I have only 1 item on my credit report that is from 2012 ($300) I forgot to pay. Otherwise, I am an ideal candidate for borrowing. I asked about the final decision & the rep said LendingPoint knew I was not approved since 01/01/22 which is crazy so why string me along and did a hard check on me? Now I'm feeling frustrated & discriminated against.

LendingPoint I applied for a loan w/ Lending Point for debt consolidation & back up

I applied for a loan w/ Lending Point for debt consolidation & back up. Was counteroffered ***. Based on *** rate vs loan amount I accepted this loan. I called in & talked to someone about my situation, went over & agreed to terms, hard pulled my credit, etc. Everything was accepted & I was in the process of review. I was then asked to provide my w-2 for my last job. Like I had previously explained I had worked in a bank for 4 years to 2021. I then moved to caregiving due to my families needs etc. I did this from January 4th until just recently. I was asked to stay at the caregiving job as on call staff still. I don't get hours atm because of being full time at the bank. I do not intend to leave banking again so this is priority. Not a new field for me either. I didn't mention I also had a PT job I only left to stay on call for caregiving. I had that job for about 1 & 1/2 years and can prove this with my last tax documents. Anyway I was told this wouldn't be a problem because Lending point just needs me to show I have consistently had a job. I have NEVER taken a break in employment so this was not a problem. I provided per request, my entire last year's *** 2020 w-2 for the bank as this last year is not available yet. Now was just waiting on signing and funding. Today 12/16 I was sent an email saying I was DENIED. Called customer service & was told that I "didn't have my previous job for a full year". I asked for reconsideration due to circumstances w/ proof & after a brief hold was told the "loan persons" was "not budging" and could apply again in 90 days.. after everything I just went thru. I can provide multiple yrs w-2s with same job, & copy of my saving account which has almost $6k recourse w/ proof ofpart time job for long period of time. Makes no sense that my credit was ran & I was lied to about the qualifications *** status.. my credit now has a hard *** will not come back to this company after this misleading experie
